Well, you won't be able to raise a second flag on the same post. So... considering how unlikely it is that a moderator will see both posts you flag for a single user, it's probably safe to just let the flags play out. If you found more evidence, we can probably find it more easily. ;)
I think you just did the one I raised the other day, @animuson; I flagged another pair just now. But it's not like it matters to me how soon they get handled, so thanks for looking into it!
Hmmm I wonder how viable it would be to raise a flag on a new account's first post if their is an account on their same IP address that is currently suspended.
Or broader, blocked from posting questions or answers - not necessarily suspended.
That seems worthwhile, although given shared IP addresses you might have to take the length of suspension into account (longer suspension, more chance of IP address being used by someone else).
@hichris123 That happens when a user has utilized ill-gotten reputation to place a bounty. The following day a user was removed that lost him more reputation than he had, so the system "created" 50 reputation to account for the bounty he had already placed.
Well, the voting script would have caught the stuff from yesterday, but there was more. It all got reversed at once about 5 minutes before the script ran.
Simplest way to pass data from one view controller to another view controller is you can save data in NSUserDefaults as an object and use in the next or previous screen. You just have to take care to clear NSUserDefaults object after completing its use.
I have an idea for my own text editor but I am not sure not what GUI Toolkit I should use.
I have found three options that I am interested in.
Qt (v5)
PyQt
Cocoa (Apple's GUI toolkit for Objective-C and OS X)
Qt and PyQt are cross-platform but Cocoa is not. Even though I would like for this a...

When a user's rep gets bloated because of serial upvoting, and as result the user is given the association bonus, shouldn't that association bonus also be reversed in case of serial upvoting reversal?
This is more like a general Linux / programming question but I've been programming for a while and I'm used to using a format such as XML/JSON on any file which is used for config purposes.
Being a newbie to Linux, I realized that the first config file I bumped into (/etc/fstab) uses some sort ...
The research and education sector (worldwide) operate highly homogeneous identity ecosystems (aka identity federations). The community of R&E federation operators conducted a survey in 2009 and then had on the order of 20-30 million users worldwide. That was before China and India built their ide...
No sane person would use XML for a config file that is almost always created/edited by humans. Except Java developers maybe. But that already conflicts with the "sane person" condition. — ThiefMaster37 secs ago
I'm not entirely sure if just deletion recommendations are sufficient to nuke a post, or if it requires at least one actual delete vote (can't see if it has one)
Yes, a sufficient number of delete recommendations (currently 6) will cause the post to be deleted immediately.
Why 6? It seemed like a good number based on the data... And also it matches the number of spam or offensive flags needed to automatically delete a post. Note that unlike spam/offensi...
So I'd say it's a bug, or at the very least something strange is going on.
Is there any extra tags for hadoop to add exposure? Is e.g. Apache or Java OK? (I do not know hadoop). Wiki say it is written in Java, but is it Java in itself?
I am trying to implement decision tree using mapreduce. In my reduce phase I want to save the output of my mapper in a .data file, and then again access it in the same reducer.

I've been trying to skip more especially if I feel unqualified to answer. I have one badge, and it's for Python, but usually I can tell if it needs closing.
Having just failed my first review audit from any of the queues, it was reviewing close votes; however, this audit was flawed in that I didn't even cast a close vote.

So I just flagged a post that I think needed to be flagged, but I accidentally clicked the wrong reason; since we can't seem to cancel flags, is there anything I should do?

Expect the panda won't be wrapping around the globe. It'll just be sitting on top of it. Maybe a chat bubble saying, "Eh, wrapping the globe is a lot of effort. I'ma just sit here and eat bamboo."
Still, this browser is not supported. @Bart it also doesn't really matter: IceCat, IceWeasel or IceElephant, all are not Firefox and the team can't possibly test their code on all forks. — Shadow WizardAug 13 '13 at 8:26
Hmm... OK, but still it's a fork and its development team got to keep it updated. Maybe they forgot to update something that cause JS to break where Firefox isn't breaking.
Any C++ proponents here? I need to learn the STL. I had a Python guy tell me to use Learn C the Hard way, and I'm not sure I want to do that (but it might be sucking me in... I keep keeping the tab open.)
This question attempts to collect the few pearls among the dozens of bad C++ books that are published every year.
Unlike many other programming languages, which are often picked up on the go from tutorials found on the Internet, few are able to quickly pick up C++ without studying a well-written...
That screwed me over once during a programming test for a job interview. I was informed it would be C++, but it turned out to be C which had some pretty nasty subtleties
I want to nominate a question for migration to like programmers or code review, (It's basically an architecture review question) but neither of those are offered as an option. Thoughts?
That is a difficult question to ask. I think you have to consider the users who may have an openid (eg goog) but are unwilling to use it too. What is the developer effort involved in listing another openid provider in SE? Does it involve a lot of work? — leifj8 mins ago
also... apparently nobody in this discussion noticed that people would end up locked out of their SE account once they leave the university/institute unless they added additional credentials
are limits of gamma function (-infinity to infinity) or (zero to infinity)? I encountered an integral recently that looks similar to gamma function but its limits are from -inf to inf, and so far I could not find its solution.
@AaronHall overly broad for Programmers. The essential question, following that rambling introduction is "I'm curious to know if I fail somewhere.". That's not a good question for any Stack Exchange site.
Frankly, I don't see how architectural review could ever become a SE site given how narrow the focus of each question is and the amount of effort that would be required to properly answer one.
