Q: Should small companies code their sites to support Chrome?

Jen the HebI work on small sites for tanning salons and stuff. We don't support ActiveX-specific stuff on IE, and we support Firefox. I've noticed some weird behavior with Chrome. My browser stats say <1% of my visitors use Chrome. I've heard people say it's nowhere near best in class. But I like the w...

Hola guys: In all my wisdom I mentioned to the OP of this question that it's most likely a caching issue.
Still think it is, but it's taken pretty long for it to resolve. Anyone happen to know what is a normal/reasonable time? Is it a once a day thing?
taking..not taken... still not resolved from what I can see.

Hahaha

Huh. I just got logged out of Stack Overflow for seemingly no reason. Weird.
The wheel says to blame Jin. Which is surprising, but I guess I'll go with it.
/blames @Jin
@Bart I'm inclined to believe that it's actually the result of something like a failed update on some local copy of that list (since I'm unsure how it could end up inconsistent otherwise). When it's happened to me before, it didn't seem to update until a new reputation came along on that particular site, at which time everything corrected.
I have no idea what the actual implementation looks like though, so this is just pure pre-coffee speculation on my part.
@jadarnel27 Don't doubt the wheel
13:13
@TimStone I shall place my trust in the Wheel of Blame, and the Wheel shall set me free.
Not saying it will or anything, but if the Wheel starts to tell you to deliver me food or something, it's just a natural mystery of how the wheel works.

Hahahaha
The Wheel works in mysterious ways. Do not presume understand the will of the Wheel.

Strange, getting the "investor" and "altruist" badge on Gaming.SE didn't seem to generate a notification

A: Missing badge notifications for badges earned on other sites?

Tim StoneAs jonsca mentions, if you've obtained at least 200 reputation on one or more sites (giving you "veteran" user status), the notifications you receive are reduced on associated sites to prevent the notification bar from spamming you about the more trivial badges. Badges that no longer generate no...

Though now I guess it's to prevent the notification bubble from spamming you...but you get the point.
That's what I thought of. I didn't realize that those two were considered trivial though

@JohnSmith -- FYI, I have a PhD, and on reading the transcript I hadn't the faintest idea what your notation was supposed to mean. — Ernest Friedman-Hill 2 mins ago
I want to give that guy a high five.

I just wasted several minutes trying to apply the permutation cycle in AakashM's answer to his meme nonsense.
Tapku is convincing me that it might be crap.

I just paid $9 for a $1.50 capacitor o_O
@TimYiJiang Well, since you already have them on Meta, I guess they're not that informative to get again.

The front page of Meta seems awfully unhappy for it being a Friday, heh.
@TimStone Indeed.
