Moderators seem to be adding messages to chatrooms on a whim. I find this objectionable.
@g3rv4 but really, in the distant past, SE used to give us an alert 1-2 weeks ahead of time when going to perform maintenance or infrastructure changes, including big migrations. Then it became few days alert, then 1-2 days, and now... nada. Not your fault, but very odd decision from above to drop something that was useful.
I can no longer enter The Reading Room, the chatroom of a site I moderate. I am logged in on the main site, but that does not help me get in to the chatroom. (I can't get in the Teachers' Lounge either.)
I have completely logged out, restarted my browser, logged in again, and the only chatrooms I can access are on Meta SE and SO. I have no access to the chatrooms of the sites I moderate, nor to the Ask Ubuntu General Room or Root Access (superuser.com).
