Since it often goes badly they decided to start the tests a little earlier this year.

@ShadowWizardChasingStars no, it goes badly because recently we usually only get the robot legs.

The assumption that "no one would turn it on" if it was not "on by default" should really make one realize that that is not "fun", that is "troll/annoyance"

To put that into context, I usually read thru those "best april fool pranks" list to find out what idiocy Blizard claimed to be adding to WoW for example...

but I tend to avoid sites that want to make fun at my expense.

@SPArcheon well, those who don't want to get pranked really should not use the internet on the first day of April, SE isn't the only site running them. I'm somewhere in the middle on this, I don't really like most pranks, but I also don't care that much, so it doesn't annoy me.

Changing the design was just ugly, on purpose, and I failed to see why it's funny, but I also don't see it as "trolling".
