well practically MSE was the 'staging/staff' server, though I'm told staff don't use it as much, chat.se covered all the sites (though they were thinking during SE 1.0 of giving each site its own subdomain/server) and chat.so covers SO, which is bigger than the rest of us
@SonictheAnonymousHedgehog not sure about forced showing "send feedback", but AFAIK it's possible to manually create a "bug report" from Developer options if that is acceptable
@JourneymanGeek tell that to Ash when they had to take a day off the site because "Time Back Machine"... At least in my case I was joking about making such a prank...
@SPArcheon yeah, chat profile is never deleted when site account deleted, unlike what balpha said in some wrong answer years ago. Anyhow, unlike @Journeyman I don't know them, and they never wrote in chat so not sure how you even found that profile?
This raise a privacy issue, when someone deletes their account, it usually means they want all their details to be gone. Leaving the whole chat profile intact goes against it in very bad way.
But meh, SE doesn't care and can't be nudged otherwise.
@JourneymanGeek the chat profile URL? That must be some really excellent memory. :D
I hardly remember phone numbers, so to remember URL's is impressive.
anyway @ShadowWizardChasingStars, if you are actually interested in the context... I could give you two links... Reading thru them could be a nice experience.
@SPArcheon ohh, thought we're talking about Ash, no idea how those are related now, but might try to figure. Knowing you though, my chances are very slim.
Well I've got it open in tabs, might read later, gotta go. Also, can't believe I'm saying this, but I consider re-creating Facebook profile. Things in Israel are going crazy and I feel like I have lots to say. But... well, we'll see.
