@EleezatheOtherWorldWizard can't see a reason for SE to sunset winter summer spring autumn bash, it's almost zero effort since they re-use existing code and designs, and gives a decent boost in activity, views, etc.
@NordTheLoftyWizard Still trying to understand if they originally planned some sort of connection to the previous generation since the movie actually started with some pretty evident call-backs.
yeah, it's like what they did to Ben 10. When they did Ben 10 Omniverse, they just did a semi-reboot, and then used the excuse of hey, the universe was "rebooted" ;))))) for the different graphics and backstory of the characters
then the latest series came out. I don't want to talk about that one :/
@Mithical at this point I think it's safe to say that it's really better to actually delete any code related to hats in Smokey, it's not like anyone will ever update it again, and it's taking extra bandwidth when loaded.
@SPArcheon I preferred this one a lot more than the latest "thing" they did (but then again, I ended up watching a lot of those episodes for some reason...still don't like it compared to the first one)
@SPArcheon I think I saw that one too yeah. I can at least watch this even though I don't really like it...but I can't make myself watch the latest Ben10 series. Maybe in 10 years when I'm extremely bored, but now I can't see myself doing that
maybe I could do the same for the latest MLP but don't know yet. Guess we'll see
@SPArcheon think they never even heard the song. :D
They're just not into those things.
@SPA anyway, Yaakov did mention being super busy with a project called "Staging Ground" (not sure what it is, probably part of Teams) so that's why they don't yet fix any bugs in Saves, new inbox, or any bugs in general.
After that super important project will be done, they'll start fixing bugs in other things.
Unless, of course, there will be another super ubber important project. And there will be.
@JourneymanGeek that's not good, so does it mean once you'll become CM, you'd lose interest in being a CM? ;)
@NordTheLoftyWizard isn't Barbie banned these days? It's a relic of a past idolizing skinny females and powerful men, tempting kids to try and achieve it in any way.
@PM2Ring Time to make graphs. Is that better or worse than in the past and what does that say about the state of the economy?
@ShadowTheKidWizard You severely misunderstand barbies. The original barbie wasn't made 'to look like'. If it's just about looks, there's no use in barbie having all these 'careers': looks are brainless.
I don't really care about barbies, never have, but if that's how you see the world, it's a misunderstanding that needs correcting.
Sorry, I haven't been keeping track. And you'd really need to compare similar scams. It takes more work to generate rep by writing answers for someone than by upvoting them, or giving them bounties.
@Tinkeringbell Barbie and Ken (?) have the perfect look. Perfect body. Kids won't go and Google what the actual meaning should be. That's what they see. So yes, I consider this to be bad toy.
Anyhow, good on you to label the toy bad, and not your parenting.
Easy cop-out.
The toys are far from perfect, like any other human or human-looking toy. Not being able to convey that to your kids and teach them any toy is fake is... not the toy's fault.
@Tinkeringbell well, my kids were never into it so didn't have to go through it. I'm talking about what I remember from the past. (Not playing myself, but seeing others, and seeing commercials.)
Oh, that's something I've asked for/about quite a few times
but I won't be a good fit for that.
I mean, I'm someone who's worked with the existing communities as a mod and user. The clever thing with chaos was it took folks new to SE, gave them mentorship, and let them build up new communities
I'd love to try to work with/around the tech communities that semi-left
security and server fault lost a lot of regulars who still hang out in the same places
"The principal characteristic of the Onagadori is its exceptionally long tail, which exceeds 1.5 metres, and has been known to reach 12 m. The tail consists of about 16–18 feathers, which under the right conditions never moult, and grow rapidly, gaining some 0.7–1.3 m per year.[4]: 329 [5]: 989 The saddle hackles also grow to a considerable length.[4]: 329 "
Can a moderator please comment on meta.stackexchange.com/q/383727/377214 indicating that their bug report was fixed, with a link to github.com/StackExchange/Stacks-Editor/issues/215? The author deleted their report for unknown reasons, but the bug was still a valid bug being tracked on GitHub and was fixed today, so it would be nice if a moderator can use their power to comment on deleted posts to let the author know.
That user deleted that post for whatever reason they had at the time. Which comes with a consequence of no more answers/comments/votes on the post, which may have been exactly what they wanted... I'm not going to comment on a post that's been deleted for almost a month.
@Tinkeringbell Okay, maybe letting the author know is a bad argument. Now that I think of it, the author is only notified if the comment was posted within one hour of deletion by the same moderator who deleted, so I guess my request would not serve any purpose.
