just how dumb must one be to literally post spam on the question on the site with the most... obsessive users and on a question a moderator literally answered
@ShadowTheKidWizard that is indeed quite fishy - changed my feedback and added a note in metasmoke
the electronics one seems run of the mill for that site, many new users link to a product and ask what voltage to use or is it compatible with their particular brand of frobozz oscillator frambrupler
@Exampleperson FYI, there was one time in MSE history that they raised the threshold needed to ask new question to 5 reputation, to prevent totally new users from asking new questions.
These days I guess you refer to the "lost souls", those who post thinking they're on a different site, those really aren't a problem, and volumes aren't high.
It seems that the Updated Terms of Service message linking to the MSE post discussing it had a undesired side effect: there is a huge increase in off-topic (mostly programming) questions. (Not to speak about the hundreds of drive-by upvotes on that posts and its answers...)

I've noticed that since the past year, the number of accounts created on Meta Stack Exchange every week has increased noticeably, and has sustained a much higher rate than it has sustained for the previous years.
Here's a query and a graph:

@MetaAndrewT. yeah this might explain some off topic questions, though I'd say 90% of the times the users already have account in the proper site.
So it's either they're question banned and asking on purpose on different site, or they end up in MSE in other ways (e.g. after clicking a featured question) and think they're in the other site.
How hard is it to get an old email removed from Stack Exchange's records? I changed my email over a year ago, found that removing the old one from my account required several non-obvious steps, eventually filed a GDPR request to have the old email removed, and yet... I've suddenly started receiving emails for Stack Overflow for Teams on the old email again.
@nobody considering that SOfT has been moved to another domainand its account has been disassociated from SO, you might want to check the account setting there instead.
@nobody if only they knew where to remove it from. The dev team is being replaced in such a high rate that there must be things that get forgotten over time.
@ShadowTheKidWizard oh no, by "lol", I meant that you replied "i'm actually left" to my comment saying "you're right" (which actually meant that you said the right thing. Sorry if any of my messages caused any confusion :)
