This is very common result of account merge, it always break chat profiles.

I didn't mention in the post that the image could have an unlimited size, and it's not being resized so it will consume people's bandwidth a lot

It's not that hard actually, check the request when updating the profile picture and you'll spot it

Last week in the Mathematics chat, people were complaining about minor edits bumping old posts. "it would be a massive benefit to have a way of editing posts without bumping them". I pointed out that spammers would love that.

I guess it would be reasonably spam-proof if it was tied to rep. Eg, if you have edit privileges, you can request a non-bumping edit. OTOH, that could lead to Bad Things if people decided to start vandalising a rivals old posts.

Can I have some early feedback on a feature request draft? I'd like to see if there are obvious holes to poke that I'm missing.

Proposal: If a <2k user's past `N` suggested edits are all approved ("good edit streak"), make their following suggested edits only require 1 review.

Rationale:

- Reduce pressure on the queue for users that have shown to be trustworthy
- But don't trust them _too_ much either (streak mechanism)
- Incentivize keen suggestors to learn to improve when their edits are rejected
- Let trustworthy editors edit at a higher frequency.

Motivation:
