Patience (Europe), card solitaire or solitaire (US/Canada), is a genre of card games whose common feature is that the aim is to arrange the cards in some systematic order or, in a few cases, to pair them off in order to discard them. Most are intended for play by a single player, but there are also "excellent games of patience for two or more players". == Name == 'Patience' is the earliest recorded name for this type of card game in both British and American sources. The word is French in origin, these games being "regarded as an exercise in patience." Although the name solitaire became common...

@JourneymanGeek actually what we know and play in the modern times has different name.
Klondike, also known as Canfield, is a card game for one player and the best known and most popular version of the patience or solitaire family, something which "defies explanation" as it has one of the lowest rates of success of any such game. Partly because of that, it has spawned numerous variants including Batsford, Easthaven, King Albert, Thumb and Pouch, Somerset or Usk and Whitehead, as well as the American variants of the games, Agnes and Westcliff. The distinguishing feature of all variants is a triangular layout of the tableau, building in ascending sequence and packing in descending...

Is OP's username not mentioned in suggested edit review?

@RandomPerson it is, you just missed it.
Look for the FHRC ^
That is the OP of the question
The suggested edit review is that of an answer, not of a question
I wanna see the OP of the answer... cc @ShadowTheKidWizard
@RandomPerson that's the meaning of OP
No special word for answer author
@ShadowTheKidWizard hmm... OP could refer to any type of content right? OP of question, answer, comment?
@RandomPerson nope.

Q: Show the answer author in suggested edit reviews

hyper-neutrinoToday, I was going through a suggested edit and found that it was shortening the code (something that we don't allow on our site (Code Golf)). However, when I tried to reject it, it had already been accepted by another user. Thus, I overrode it, thinking that it was someone who isn't aware of thi...

So, dead end, not even in review means there's no real hope for that request.

Q: Stack Exchange Glossary - Dictionary of Commonly-Used Terms

PollyannaWhat are the common phrases, words, abbreviations that are used on Stack Overflow, Server Fault, Super User, Meta Stack Overflow, and the other Stack Exchange sites? This is meant to be a very quick overview, not an in-depth tutorial. When considering whether a term ought to be included, please u...

> The person who wrote the question. Alternatively (rarely), OP can be used to refer to the Original Post (question) itself.
Thanks for the info!
If we'll also call answer author "OP" this will cause great confusion as we won't be able to know whether "OP" means question author, answer author, or maybe ever comment author.
@ShadowTheKidWizard Sounds fun!
@JourneymanGeek OP

@ShadowTheKidWizard OP!
@JourneymanGeek in gaming it's short of "overpowered", usually used as "op rich" to describe a whale. :P
@ShadowTheKidWizard Original Poster :D
as opposed to a counterfeit poster
@JourneymanGeek not in gaming
80% of my Castle Clash chats consist of "op rich" or just "op" whenever someone brags about doing something a bit better than average. ;)
maybe he's rich due to sales of counterfeit posters.

Last time it took about 6 hours to have an off topic question deleted during weekend, hopefully someone would wake up faster this time. :D
Luckily there are also less lost souls during weekends, otherwise we would have been flooded already.

Is there anything special about the username "spammer"? I'm currently writing a for-fun SEDE query looking at "popularity" of usernames (link to query result), and noticed that that username suddenly had a huge increase of users with that display name in 2022 (link to query result)
