Life? Pffff. It's alive :P
My past few days were okay though, as they were mostly weekend. ;) And yours?

well being quite busy. I'm rounding up at my current job, to start a new one november first.

@Luuklag That does sound fancy though! Good luck and send the BBB woman my regards ;)

@Tinkeringbell Ill probably won't deal much with members of parliament. But I'd be attending the occasional debates

@Luuklag where are you based? Hawaii?

@Luuklag That sounds boring to me. But if it makes you happy, go for it ;)

7:33 PM
@g3rv4 9:30 PM, in western Europe
@Tinkeringbell its a new challenge, my current job no longer is for me. Probably got less coding to do as a policy advisor, but yeah.

Yeah, I don't really associate policy advising with coding either. But lots of data crunching still, so probably some excel and a query or two?

can still use coding to automate the mundane tasks
every job has them

@KevinB One of the first things I did at my current job. Automate the input of data from excel into a program, and automate the output of that program into excel. Saves the company around 2 weeks of work a year.

my first task was data entry, my second was to eliminate the need for said data entry
so basically the same
don't think we have any data-entry specific people anymore

2 hours later…
9:27 PM
Hmmm I was reviewing, and while submitting a task the maintenance banner popped up, making my review fail.
