You have to follow the link provided and search for the applicable page; which leads to a much lengthier article than the ones I suggested: webaim.org/techniques/alttext - You need to make sure that when someone searches (for example) Google Images using words that the search engines can identify the contents of the image without resorting to Artificial Intelligence.

Here's why it's important" warning that links to that page. (Unfortunately, I was told it's not very simple to see how effective it is, so I don't have the data on hand.)

@Rob yeah, it's being discussed for a while. And unless something will go really wrong, the line won't be long, Israel small population size and wide health infrastructure makes it very efficient. So I don't worry. :)

Often that's the case, either something happens once and one particular person will never do it again (got lost in city X, never going there again) or the lesson needs to be repeated many times to sink in; seemingly no middle ground.

since that passage stands out, it probably means that whatever the woman was going to say before the planet went kabom, it was related to finding the question.

Since it was something about "how the world could be made a good and happy place" it is probable that the idea was that the "Answer to the universe, life and everything else" is something about living happy.

Q: Is there any explanation for why a planet would need to be destroyed to create a hyperspatial express route?

In the opening bit of pretty much every version of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the Earth is destroyed to make room for a hyper-spatial express route. Is there any basis for why this would need to be done, or is this purely a plot device to give a plausible reason to destroy the earth?

On the ground it is absurdity. The books start with Arthur protest because his home was going to be destroyed to build a new road, seconds latter you have the space invaders versions of the story with the Vogons destroying the planet to build an hyperspace tunnel

but the later book also give the thing a second reason, someone didn't want the question to be found.

in "So Long And Thanks For All The Fish" there are multiple quotes about the girl.

Also the main site queues have 11 reviews (that I can see) waiting. --- Would you also consider reviewing those suggested edits, and lowering the privileges so that the ~300 visitors per day have some permission to do more to help out.

While I can't see anything beyond the score for posts it looks like upvoting is a little light; there are people with over 50 answers and not 2K reputation, accepting also doesn't always happen - this pushes down the reputation of most of the users, who return less and less frequently.

Some sites (like the one you tried to onebox from) disable hotlinking, and some go to the extreme and serve NSFW images when trying to hotlink to them. @forestdistrustsStackExchange got chat banned due to this once.

@SPArcheon I don't know about the smarter, better-looking, and more physically able. Looks OK at a glance, but that's not nature. Young people are a bit stronger than elders, for example.

@GWarner The tip I'd give is - don't really worry about rep as numbers, worry about content quality and learning the site, and rep kinda takes care of itself

The one thing missing is that if the privileges allowed the "average person of X reputation who came to visit" (statistically based) to have a greater ability to participate in the moderation of their site (maybe 35-50% lower reputation for all but the lowest levels) - but I understand if you don't want to lower it without greater study (or at all). Thanks for clearing those queues! (jumping for joy).
