I agree. Blue would be more meaningful than green.
It will make the UI more consistent, because it appears blue in the full reputation tab of the profile and green in the recent rep summary at present. This has been reported by others in the past as well.
Please make it blue!
since we're talking about git: I still find it a bit slow on how you remove a commit (since you have to create a branch, move the commit you want to remove there, and then rebase it...)
I might know a hack where i just edit whatever is in .git but that's too hacky to use all the time hmm
I'm a little curious: should suspended users be required to view ads when browsing the site?
The point of setting a user's rep to 1 is so they can't do anything on the site as they won't have the required reputation.
But as the help page says, there's no point in keeping the ads visible if users aren't going to click on them. It implies that SE is paid per click rather than per view.
The privilege exists everywhere. But on most sites, it's hidden and notifications for earning it are suppressed. Doesn't make much sense to tell folks about a privilege that doesn't actually do anything.
Just because we're willing to sell ads on a site doesn't mean you'll ever see them... And no...
@Ollie Because you chose a tab. There's one URL (there, and many other pages work the same way) and a few tabs, when you chose a tab that's the tab you are on; and any other webpage open for that URL by you is also on the same tab. --- It's very roughly similar to saying that you opened your profile on two tabs (tabs, in your browser) and gained or lost rep, when you refresh the other tab in your browser it duplicates the first. --- Other places (I think list of questions?) it's broken.
