Staff answering stuff?

yup
I see at least 2 devs (not counting our regulars, who ought to be counted :D ) and Des.

3:09 AM
@Rob thanks man! Really nice tone, I am playing it on loop!

No problem, because it's 45 seconds it's long enough that voicemail will catch before it plays through.

5:31 AM
@Feeds ok, who vandalized onebox?

Rob

@alexolut I think you're making a terrible assumption there about questions and answers being the same code path...which they're not :) They're handled separately, one match may be friend while another isn't. Or it could be something else, but never assume! — Nick Craver ♦ Apr 30 '17 at 15:55

@Ollie sorry, I only do serial downvoting ;)
@MetaAndrewT. Twitter ...

We had to close some gaps when the hack thing happened last year... and ... if I understand correctly, the Twitter API made use of one of the gaps we closed... so... I think it may be permanent.
... and a comment a few before that about The Blob being fixed ...

@Rubiksmoose I've done some brief testing, if anyone wants to undertake a more thorough set of tests. A few other .blog URLs I tried didn't onebox (so it's probably set to require stackexchange.blog in the URL as part of the requirements). Even with that longer URL the results vary, but I've made an initial conclusion (based on insufficient testing).

2:28 PM
the last time i tested that, there was a difference in how the links were displayed that depended on the formatting of the article itself
both of those... are identical in formatting, other than the iframe vs image

Maybe there's an HTML comment or <meta property="og:title" content="The Overflow # ... versus <meta property="og:title" content="Podcast ... content that is being detected (for example).

Flowerday
When I was young we decided to start the weekend on Thursday, making the weekend a day longer. Eventually this was adopted by 'casual Friday followers' and shirkers who simply took Friday off. Needless to say, eventually we got it to Wednesday night; where the bars had cheaper drinks that day.

Hello, Tink.
You came in really fast.
Much faster than the usual lazy float.
Can you not select everything from everything in SEDE?
SELECT * FROM *

@SonictheMaskedWerehog fixed it in v0.4. Thanks for reporting!

8:32 PM
@Ollie no, it is limited to 50,000 rows per resultset: meta.stackexchange.com/a/234774/158100

@Ollie Hey :) I entered without meaning to by pressing 'back' on my phone ;)
I'll probably be a bit absent while I'm dealing with some legal stuff, sick grandparents and vacation (sadly, in that order) this weekend and next week...

@Tinkeringbell not COVID-19 I hope?

@Ollie Nope, dementia and old age.

Anything's better than covid.

I should go out and then tell them I really can't come πŸ˜‚

8:40 PM
@Ollie with a bit of trickery this works: data.stackexchange.com/stackoverflow/query/1291085

Thanks.
@rene you only do serial downvoting? Isn't that most serial votes?

I dunno. I don't keep track about what others do.

Are comments sorted by most recent, or most votes when there are enough of them to show the "Show X more comments" button?

they're sorted by date/time

9:10 PM
yep, filtered by most votes, sorted by datetime
that said, since happy hour is coming, I should sleep...

9:30 PM
@Glorfindel Thanks!

@Tinkeringbell sorry to hear! Good luck with everything!
@Rob with milk?
@Ollie no key, no day

Rob
@ShadowWizardWearingMask No.
