with d3 i don't like how weak you are without some set + legendary combo. like, +20000% dmg from putting on a set of max level gear is a bit much

PoE on the other hand, "legendaries" have downsides, so it's never a case of "Of course i should put it on!", instead it's "Putting this on will improve X, but i'll have to make up for Y in other slots"

I got relatively into PoE but hardcore burned myself out on it inside of a month. I get what you're talking about, yeah. Build diversity in PoE is pretty impressive, imo. Lots of stuff you can do, feels good to do just about anything, even if you're not min-maxing. I'm definitely a more casual player when it comes to those kinds of games though.

also, I literally got all the other stuff already

(batteries, really cool/fancy charger....)

Still... I've never seen people so excited about flashlights.

Hourly haircuts would be annoying, but they'd be easier to do yourself, since you'd have adjacent hairs as a guide. Growing it out would be a huge pain, though.

At 525,600 minutes per year, that would be 2,102,400 inches long after 4 years total.

So, 4 years, that makes... 2-3 haircuts of about 5cm each to subtract (per hair!)

It picks an unused point on the skin at random. Anywhere on the body counts, not just the head. If you run out of hair slots, you die.
