@Catija "the increase in sign-ups relates to it directly. One of our data scientists will give a better explanation tomorrow but this isn’t spammers." ... I find it hilarious that dark mode increased signups :D
also I have a junkload of SE stuff to do. I need to write a reply for Prasanth's post, and well the other stuff :D
maybe tommorrow ._.

@Aibobot it’s true, though. Exactly what Shog said is what’s happening. People log in and stay logged in for dark mode.

I mean, I know devs/techies love their dark mode but...
its one of those "they've been resisting it for years. Wait what?"

@SonictheStay-HomeHedgehog do you know a way to see all previously awarded bounties on a site (even ones that aren't available anymore)?

3:58 AM
@user1271772 It's available in SEDE, but @rene is more experienced in that than I

4:23 AM
@SonictheStay-HomeHedgehog I see, I checked MSE and didn't find that anyone had asked it before, so I asked you. I'm surprised it requires the SEDE.

@user1271772 here is a query; the full list times out on Stack Overflow but it might work on other sites.

7:53 AM
@Glorfindel probably due to [Post Link] and [User Link]. Adding extra joins with posts and users and doing a concat('site:\\', etc) to replace the magic might work.

@rene pong

@ShadowKeepsSocialDistance dong

@ShadowKeepsSocialDistance plop

@ShadowKeepsSocialDistance machine

12:41 PM
@rene time (fun fact: my 7 y/o son asked me yesterday if there is a time machine in the world, and if so, who has it. :))

@ShadowKeepsSocialDistance tell him you know someone, who knows someone who knows someone who heard that someone might be working on that.
"From a friend"

@rene he'll keep bugging me to tell him who this is, how old is he, where he lives, and what is his height and weight.

I'm 180 ...

as well, yes. ;)

12:44 PM
lol
The time has come... to make schnitzels. Cya!

chow!

Hmmmm, schnitzels...

1:03 PM
Agreed.
@ShadowKeepsSocialDistance Chicken, pig, or beef?

all of them?

Sounds like a plan to me :P

Guessing pig isn’t an option...

Ah, yeah. Sorry!

I blame my ignorance for not noticing that. Apologies.

1:14 PM
@Tinkeringbell the poor turkey, so often ignored and so tasty.

turkey schnitzel though?!
We eat turkey here from time to time, it's nice in summer salads.

@Tinkeringbell Heck yes!

Why not :P Tastes like chicken :P
Best schnitzels are cordon bleu if you ask me.

Sounds too much as "Gordon" to me ....

Schnitzel with glitter and blinking LEDs? Yeah, no thanks :P

1:18 PM
It's schnitzel, I'd still eat that.

@Gimby You also can't have a good beer or wine with a Gordon schnitzel... still interested? :P

@Tinkeringbell I don't drink, so I don't care :)

I'd be devastated, personally.

I must say, I would not have expected to ever be discussing Gordon schnitzels. This is a good Friday.

Hahaha Mine was already a good Friday, but this can just go in the same bucket, yeah ;)

May 2020 Welcome to ISSUE #20 of The Overflow! That feels like a milestone to us, and we’re gonna celebrate by giving you a newsletter by developers, for developers, written and curated by the Stack Overflow team and Cassidy Williams at Netlify. We’re skilling up, putting breadcrumbs down, and virtually speaking out. From the blog…

@rene chew, actually
@Tinkeringbell chicken 🐔

Nice!

@Catija not religious, wife does eat bacon sometimes, I don't eat, but reasons are... complicated, not the normal reasons. Bottom line, it's actually an option. :)
@Tinkeringbell just bread crumbs and sesame. ;)

sesame is like food glitter.

To be honest, my favorite type is the huge thin schnitzel, forgot its name. But my children don't like it, so not an option at home. ;(

Wienerschnitzel?

Can the bluetooth sensors in our phones help to prevent the spread of Covid-19?

@Gimby that's what I'm here for... Bring up weird things nobody else think about... :D
@Tinkeringbell maybe... Will check later, now bath time. (for kids ;))

Take care! :D

@ShadowKeepsSocialDistance I don't see the problem. Growing up my Mom was always just "If you don't like what I cooked for dinner make yourself a PB&J sandwich". Neither my siblings nor I ever starved to death if we were having a picky phase

5:27 PM
@DanIsFiddlingByFirelight well we just let them be picky, to a limit of course. As long as they get what they need. :)

Whoops, sorry @Glo - I edited those other questions that poster had out of the question as my initial thought was to narrow to a single feature-request. Should I plop them back in there?

@Spevacus heh, that happens. I think you're right in separating them; the author's feature request definitely has merit and their other (less important in the grand scheme of things) questions have now been answered as well.
