Recently, some users that have their avatar generated by (or just imported from?) Google have a broken avatar, since Google no longer provides an image at the given URL, but a 404.
See My picture is missing on my profile page, for an example.
Now, this isn't really the fault of SE, but there ma...
@Shadow9 at least the user seems to have found out the source of the bug by themselves. It would be worse if someone used his gold hammer to close a bug report as unclear and then reposted the same bug report 5 minutes later under their name (happened)....
> So when I wrote the blog post, I was in the odd situation of announcing a feature intended to make the site more welcoming that was largely designed by the very community that was labeled (by other employees) as particularly unwelcoming.
I'm just gonna post parts of Jon's blog post that are very bah dum tiss-y.
Except the starting quote. That speaks for itself, and holy crap, it hit close to home
@Shadow9 will have to check. I remember it was a single-hand closure, and now that you mention it.... it probably was a gold-hammer closure on the bug tag.
I seem to have a vague memory of the original poster commenting that their question was not a dupe... so probably you are right.
Yet... I fear that this version would only make things worse since then the "theft" only seem more deliberate (first I claim this is a dupe, then i repost it as mine)
@Shadow9 now I kinda wonder if you say this because that is the only way that could have happened... or because you remember this specific instance.... :P
@Shadow9 that is the problem. it would be on almost all the time. someone would write a script to run it once every 30 seconds or so. Would ruin the fun.
and if we brought it over, then you would have no motivation to figure out what song plays in the background
> Alt+F4 is a bait and switch trolling technique used against users who lack knowledge of operating system shortcuts and features. When asked how to perform an online action (i.e. "omg how do I use colourz?!?!") a helpful troll will offer advice in the form of "press alt+f4"--this keyboard shotcut command closes down the active window in most Windows applications, at which point the successful troll wallows in their own crapulence.
How far you can get, it's basically depend on the specific Unix/Linux distributions.
But to answer your base question, yes - rm command would be removed with it as well as any other standard command in /bin and other folders.
Here is the simple test which I've performed in Linux Ubuntu 15.04 us...
Someone tried it so you don't have to. Unles you're feeling nihilistic
tl;dr; Planned service interruption that will impact Stack Exchange Data Explorer (SEDE). The site will be inaccessible for up to 12 hours on February 5, 2020 starting at 2:00pm UTC.
Short Version:
There will be an extended service outage for up to 12 hours starting at 2pm UTC (9am US/Eastern)...
@Shadow9 disclaimer: the word "Derpy" managed to cause a lot of problem to Hasbro once, and they didn't even had a welcoming wagon hanging on their head at the time. You may want to avoid using that as an adjective.
@Shadow9 Not that I would care or get offended, but Hasbro history shows it is quite easy to use that word as a pretest for nitpicking. Wouldn't want anyone here to use that to troll-suspend random users.
I've seen a few different formulations of this, but the most famous is "monkeys on a typewriter" - that if you put a team of monkeys on a typewriter, given infinite time, they will eventually produce the works of Shakespeare, and indeed every text ever written or even conceivable. (Other argument...
hmm, I wouldn't recommend the show to anyone so they can see the last season. At best it would be despite the ending, since until like S5 the show was great
anyway.... only one more week and we will know if the Super Mario movie will finally lose its status as worst videogame based movie in the history of humanity.
When I watch pros play, I see them constantly switching from main weapon to knife in almost every situation (i.e running, walking, entry, etc.).
In match-making, ESEA, etc. players will also do this. I have seen people die because they were in the middle of the 'switching' animation and thus una...
oh well I remember how it started with "the president" and his daughter(?) with cat ears and then the movie actually begins for real when Sonic goes down into the city :p
I prefer to think of it as a nostalgic atmospheric experience
I've been trying to get into some things which others have deemed similarly wasteful, and then I started thinking better of it, and I gotta say it's a real improvement over my past stubborn decision making process :p
@JNat It's my all-time favorite anime! And if you liked BNHA and Naruto for at least a bit, I'll bet you'll like it as well. I've never watched a shonen anime that was better. There's one arc that is divisive, but it's at the end. Definitely worth checking out if you have the time.
you can... but while I doubt I could be banned for linking that actual screenshot from a game that even managed somehow to be rated ESRB: E10 ..... I guess that some images you could post could end up with JNat blasting you away :P
@Shadow9 the parrot seems to have migrated to warmer lands for the winter (trad: didn't see her around in the last few days), the dog didn't came to mind but doesn't seem very scary, poor Yaakov isn't scary at all.... naaahhhh
The blue bomber is the most indicated executioner here
Already has a long experience dealing with mad robot masters, mavericks and the such.
Can surely handle a wizard.
Oh, you mention the dog and he appears.... :P
(and furthermore, I fear Yaakov has his very own share of too-much-to-do-too-little-time right now)
(not that that meas JNat hasn't anything to do instead, but he is the one here right now :P)
