I've just noticed that you can find all of linked questions even if the original post was deleted: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/linked/312415 (I am below 10k on this site, so I do not see the deleted post.)
@Somewhat I might be wrong, but IIRC it will only displayed to users who can see it. (I.e., if somebody favorites a question and it is deleted - I see it among favorites if I have 10k+ on that site, otherwise it is missing from the list.)
I am not sure whether this is documented somewhere, but we can make a test.
Into my favorites on Meta Mathematics math.meta.stackexchange.com/users/8297/… I have just added "Test - self-deleted questions shown among votes". I have 10k+ there, so I see it. But when I the same link in incognito window it is no longer displayed.
The OP has right to see their deleted question (provided they have link) on any site, regardless of the reputation. I do not know whether or not I would see my own deleted questions in my favorites on a site where I am below 10k.
I am not really sure how it is supposed to work, so I do not know which behavior should be considered "bug" and which should be considered as "fixed". :-)
Or maybe it is just another MO-specific bug. (Some stuff did not really work after moving that site to the SE network - perhaps it has something to do with the fact that it does not end with stackexchange.com. Although I cannot recall exactly some bugs of this type from the top of my head.)
Fair enough. It depends on your definition of "ages".
I agree that this being MO specific is less likely - still that site is different in that it was not created within network bug migrated from elsewhere and it is possible that some more obscure bugs were not all caught - even in five years.
> The terms under which MathOverflow is operated will shift from the "Stack Exchange 1.0" model (under which the site is operated by Fog Creek Software as a service but the data, users, etc. are owned by you) to the "Stack Exchange 2.0" model (under which the site is a community within the Stack Exchange network, owned and operated by Stack Exchange).
Could perhaps "Fog Creek Software as a service" simply mean that Fog Creek Software provided webhosting, support and administration?
I visited MO before migration, but I was not very active - and definitely not that active in meta discussions. (After joining I started to participate on meta - I was able to answer some questions since I knew other sites which operated on SE 2.0. And - as we all know - metas are rather addictive.
Glitch (previously known as Fog Creek Software) is a software company specializing in project management tools. Its products include project management and content management, code review tools.
== History ==
Based in New York City, Fog Creek was founded in 2000 as a consulting company by Joel Spolsky and Michael Pryor. As the consulting market started to dry up due to the collapse of the Dot-com bubble, Fog Creek moved to a product-based business. In December 2016 Anil Dash was appointed CEO. Fog Creek's offices are located in the Financial District of Manhattan. On September 25, 2018...
In any case, I'll have to start my commute to work in about half an hour - so maybe we can continue this discussion later. (Or simply stop here - it started from something which is only of marginal interest.)
keep your nose clean so you don't breathe through the mouth while sleeping (which dries out the membranes & causes them to be more likely to become inflamed) and take fever reducing OTC meds before sleeping
I considered putting couple of pills in my wallet for even easier availability when I had a rough two weeks where I needed painkillers every day, but decided it might get crushed when I sit on it so gave up on the idea.
@Tinkeringbell didn't they hear about awesome new feature called... wait for this.... Calendar? gmail got it builtin, surely all other major email providers. You just click Yes/No/Maybe in the email itself. :P
@JourneymanGeek No, but it was bolded and the tone was a tad passive aggressive as in 'you've just wasted my time because I had to send another e-mail'
@ShadowWizard :P I can do passive aggressive too ;) 'I was sure I already declined the invitation by not replying the first time, but again, I'm not coming'.
@Tinkeringbell "We're like to formally warn you cause you're 10 minutes late to work every day" "Hi! I'm actually 10 minutes early, however I had to go to the other site first... I'd be happy to screenshot the fingerprint scanner. However, It would have been nice if you had asked before sending me a formal warning"
HR here is cool, but they don't do stuff like that. They only send you e-mails thrice a day with job listings if your current assignment is ending soon :P
I think I dislike the secretaries more... they have some really annoying habits that really push my buttons.
On that note, it may be time to just ask a ranty question on Workplace. That way, I don't have to moderate it on IPS.
@Derpy did you play Ni No Kuni 2? I have a question, going to post it later on arqade when I get another screenshot, but if you know the answer might be better. :)
@Tinkeringbell lol thought you said it's not that bad... ;) (unless you mean your anger towards the secretary etc. :))
@Tinkeringbell this is a weird coincidence. I too had to skip an "employee of the quarter" award because of the flu. But in my case the HR was already aware of that.
After all, thanks to my country idiocy, we have to send in the "protocol code" manually to our company after the medic gives us an illness certificate
I don't know if this is just some privacy nonsense or some medieval heritage... but it seems the company can't automatically receive the notice that a worker is ill....
@Derpy OK, here we go. In chapter 8 there are lots of higgledies all over Ding Dong Dell, just for decoration though, i.e. unreachable, but funny. For example:
However, in chapter 9, they are all gone. Not one higgledy in the whole city.
I'll take screenshot in same spot as above just without the higgledies to make my point, I don't have save in chapter 8 so I found it in some online tutorial.
Weird enough, I found nothing about the missing higgledies anywhere on the internet. It's as if either nobody noticed, or it's something so obvious that I'll feel stupid when someone will tell me. :P
@ShadowWizard will have to check, but considering that is in chapter 9, I wouldn't exclude your "world is dying" theory. Noticed if they have moved in other places too?
Another possibility is that for that chapter they are actually using an alternated version of the Ding Dong Dell area - maybe because it was simpler to do that for some cutscenes, and so they forgot something.
That said... thanks for this idea. This gives me a reason to check if those weird thing in DQ 11 change places too.
@Derpy well, they're all still in my Castle, but then it's true for all citizens due to the kingsbond protection. I'll check in Aunt Martha house where I first saw them, thanks.
@Derpy yeah, more likely. :/
(though I'm pretty sure they're missing in cutscenes in chapter 8 as well.)
Wish I had a save, but I overwrote them all with chapter 9 saves. :(
The previous save I have is chapter 5 and it's not worth spending hours to reach 8 again just for that.
Even better, near the end of the game you can get an accessory that plays a sound when you enter a room with an hidden block...
but by that time that specific block is no longer collectable.
Worst part? The accessory will STILL play said tune
so you are now stuck with a room that you know has an hidden block in it...
but no way to get that block (as I said, your only chance is during a "cutscene" very early in the game)
and obviously you also have no way to know that item is lost by now.
Oh, wait, I now remember that there is more frosting on the cake too. There is a quest that directs you to find all the hidden blocks.
You can get it AFTER that block has become unavailable.
... To think about it, I seem to remember that the first time the game even mentions the existence of hidden blocks is after that block is lost. But take this last bit with a grain of salt
do we know a rough estimate as to what may cause votes to be classed as serial? i just received a number of upvotes in a very small window of time and i am concerned this may be classed as serial, as i have a strong feeling who they were and dont want to cause them any harm

I wanted to be able to pin the rooms I'm on, but I wouldn't know how many unread messages there were.
With this extension, I can pin the tab.

hmm... Why are the two downvotes shown here for this user today combined into one entry? stackoverflow.com/users/7158850/razvanr?tab=reputation did they really happen at the same second? even if they did, why would they be combined?
