More context if you need it

@PrincessLuna I already noticed you seem to be good at detecting such stuff lil' unicorn. You've got my support. (I'll leave that can closed!)

Q: What should my family do to notify SE if I die?

Lightness Races in OrbitI'm updating various morbid documents and have come to wonder whether there is any established protocol for "memorialising" accounts in the way that some social media networks do? I'm not asking for some wonderful shrine to be put up on my profile, and at its most basic my will could just ignore...

@Discretelizard let's have an argument about when to disengage from an argument
You're wrong. Absolutely wrong. Even before you give an argument.

Wrah!! I was writing an answer about it!

@πάνταῥεῖ post Pharma spam till the account is suspended for 27 years

> is any established protocol for "memorialising" accounts in the way that some social media networks do?
inb4 "we're not a social media!"

5:28 PM
Would still be nice to at least lock the accounts (block login to prevent abuse of the account)

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ No, I don't get your judgement. >He deserves a serious buddhist's answer about that.

Even there are many users who left the site without saying anything long before they also leaving this world...

@HTTPS plus, would you remember to tell someone to post Pharma spam on SE after you're dead?
I wouldn't.

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ Nah, not worth it

@Discretelizard are you disengaging before starting the argument?
That's cheating

5:34 PM
@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ It doesn't matter if it's cheating, it's smart.
@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ But I like your enthousiasm to continue, so I'll give another reply.

Stop disengaging...

Disengage from stopping

A timeless classic.

@SFTP pls send him
to the moon

5:37 PM
@SFTP >blink<

Untimely is arguably much cooler

user315433
Yoda speak as a bonus: "The codes, plz send me"

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ No, we want to get (clean) resources from the moon.

@SFTP *as bonus speak a, Yoda

Well, gals 'n guys. Back to the "line of scrimmage" plz. I believe LRIO is going to overshoot a bit!

5:45 PM
@πάνταῥεῖ ugh
Ugh.
Ugh

UGH
status-ugh

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ THX for re-affirmation

QUACK!!!!!!!!!!

5:50 PM
No quack for you.

@JohnMiliter The quack of death or what??

Quack Overflow is helpful. I asked it what sound ducks make, and it gave me the correct answer!!!!!
It must be a genius.

@JohnMiliter rumor says it can read your mind

The Great Duckini!

@JohnMiliter See what Death actually tells you. He's what your quacking is on to argue ...

5:56 PM
@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ It can!!! I thought to myself "quack" and I aksed it what I was thinking. It gave me the correct answer again!!!!!! I would pay millions for the source code for such a powerful AI!!!!

Nyeh... What's up, duck?

@πάνταῥεῖ "Any last words?" Death asked the duck. "QUACK!!!!!!!" The duck said, without second thoughts!

The duck seems angry...

@JohnMiliter That's actually a good one :-D

But on April 2, the duck will croak as opposed to quaking

6:05 PM
@JohnMiliter so annoyingly many words with "c", "r" and "k"

If @LRIO is going to die, I'd probably remember that everlasting embracement of a MILF, and I never can reach her (because that guy isn't a female) :-P
Quack! somehow

@SmokeDetector K

:6823909 the download site mention "Note that some anti-virus software or firewall or Windows defender may block the download or installation. Please select Download Anyway or Install Anyway" :/

@HTTPS Seems you're not operating on safe protocols ;-)

Bah, so I have to go to the MS site?

user315433
6:51 PM
@PrincessLuna You don't really have to, there are already two "FP" feedbacks there

I know, one of them is mine

user315433
Trivia: the Russian word for "hoax" is "утка" which is literally "a duck".

and one of the theories is a hoax?

@HTTPS Your protocols seem to be navigating into more safe waters now ;-)

user315433
7:12 PM
It also claims that duck - hoax association is international, but I'm yet to see any evidence in other languages.

Aah... so that's why it's called DuckDuckGo...

user359686

Appropriate search engine for the topic ;)

for what I know, it comes from German "ente", where NT was an abbreviation.

@JohnDvorak That was a very poor M$ marketing gag back in the days, yes.

7:29 PM

But I'm more interested if we should build @LRIO's immortality pedestal actually, or consider him being a regular human as we all are after all ...
Beautiful MILF pics or not ...
@JohnDvorak And some self-implication regarding a fake news hoax these days ...

starting to legitimately wonder who they got to record the "quack"

7:49 PM
@JohnDvorak I'm having a weird visual association about Adolf Hitler, an that's completely unrelated, forgive me please.

Google Style Guide says that JS constants should be in SHOUTY_SNAKE_CASE.

user315433
Was never a fan. Even @READ doesn't write const EMAIL = "_@jeremy.ca";

user315433
Maybe fonts are the solution. Bold for constant, italic for classes, underline for global variables...

user315433
> tabs/spaces... Can we just accept that it's time to abandon character-based code indentation and adopt CSS for the purpose? -- Shog9 at 6:24 PM - 27 Feb 2018

@SFTP Google, institutionally, does not respect JavaScript. There are amazing JavaScript developers, obviously including the Chrome team and Angular's developers, but that rule was probably imposed a decade ago by a Java developer who doesn't even write JavaScript.

@SFTP I think sublime does that.
