@Michelle That's not exactly what happened. They had posted for the community ops job and I put in for that, but since I was coming from a developer background they said you should be a dev. I knew I couldn't since I was coming from a DBA background, but they had me start the eng process only to fail which then turned to a CM job.

@ShaWizDowArd My guess is that a more attractive opportunity arose. He has a pretty good LinkedIn CV. And there is no CM salary calculator online.
