long time no see :)
Any of you know of an existing feature request to let regular users handle comment flags?

Q: Make comment flagging work more like chat flagging, available to users with 10k reputation

Ben BrockaChat flags are handled fast. So fast they're often gone before I click the little flag notification. Comment flags are handled slow. Only mods can see them and they're quite low priority. Like chat flags they can be auto-handled if enough flags pile up...but that's not a common situation. Soluti...

Q: Can obsolete comment flags be added to the review queue?

Terry ChiaAn issue was raised on the Arqade Meta by a user who was mass-flagging obsolete comments. The moderator over there claims that the mod team of 6 (soon to be 9) mods cannot handle that amount of flags. Can a review queue be added for obsolete comment flags? I don't see why handling such flags hav...

thank you @gnat :)

Hey @Stijn!
@M.A.R. hi :)
I've been working at a new customer past few months and they have open desk policy, so kinda hard to get on chat :(
user315433
OTOH we are still working on "A library with different levels of silence." so they are not all to be taken for granted.

user315433
Um... if I had those initials, I'd avoid using them.
Farlex Urinary?
@Alex Yeah, that seems to be more like a rhetorical thing than an actual possibility given college kids.
user315433
We do have a silent reading room, and silence is enforced. It's the intermediate levels between "zoo" and "morgue" that are lacking.
user315433
TIL when I click "Improve Edit" from review and don't write revision summary, the previous edit summary gets attributed to me. Now I have "fixed grammer" and whatnot in the revision history. :(

Fierce competition in LQRQ
user315433
I voted to delete the nomination, for mercy. Since I see this is a downvote-magnet and wanted to help the candidate get out of it. — Rotwang 11 hours ago
@Alex I think andrewsi stopped reviewing a few months back. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
@BhargavRao at least in the CVQ
Yeah, it was weird. There were 40 reviews per day till a given a day and then none after that.
user315433
19:24
I see, last review Sep 10.
@Alex did that ever happen before? flabbergasted ...
user315433
I don't find it weird. I was at or near top reviewer on Math at various points of time, but decided to pass the torch. 0 reviews since return to the site.
user315433
It makes sense for one to decide they have done enough.
user315433
Okay, then the screenshot captures the historic moment of @Andy taking the top position in LQRQ. All hail the new low quality king.

Andeee Andeee
@Alex haha I knew it but I kept ignoring it
19:43
@ShadowWizard can you make some sense out of this?
@rene I can, but I won't tell you.
@M.A.R. :(
Is there a question about what I should do as an asker when there's an objectively better answer based on an existing one? If I change the accepted answer the user also loses reputation.
@user598527 pretty sure there are a lot of questions, but the answer is you can do whatever you want with the accept

Spam posts on AU per month: June was the all-time record and July may yet beat it.
user315433
SO is trending down, I think the peaks were customer support numbers
user315433
So yes, 601 on Ask Ubuntu in June is the all-time record for spam-nuking in a month for any site outside of SO.
user315433
This counts the posts that were nuked "correctly", by Community casting a vote of VoteTypeId=12. (Which happens if either enough spam flags are cast or a mod casts a binding spam flag; not if the post is mod-deleted).

@Alex What's "The Notification?"
user315433
Specifically the answer by Tim Post: meta.stackexchange.com/a/278592
Ohhh. Thanks! I must have been inactive during that period of time, I don't remember that craziness.
That's the first time I've seen that website.

Happy customer testimonial for the Docs team.
23:31
@rene sure. Author prefers pastebim because: A) no need for account to put code there, and B) User who want the code doesn't have to download any file, as the text is right there, ready for copy and... wait for it... paste. ;)
I downvoted because users can just put the code as part of the post, no need for external host, and this still stands.
And if someone needs "deep debug" of whole files, it's off topic anyway.
@jadarnel27 because it's brand new
