user202362
Silk Road (online pharmaceutical) probably became more well known/infamous after they were busted ...
@Shog9 Wild guess; what do you think the % of users on SO is whose profile ages / birthdates are relatively accurate?
Relatives?
Well, mine says I'm a few hours older than I am, but that's hardly my fault.
There is one person who is -972 years old.
user202362
03:15
Meaning if you are 30, it's relatively accurate if you claim to be 29 instead of 97
user202362
You could claim to be born in 2988?
@TelkittytheWebDeveloper Yeah.
I feel like the accuracy of ages for users who are reported to be 13 to, say, 75, might be decent though. data.stackexchange.com/stackoverflow/query/435769 seems reasonable.

@JasonC 0%. Pretty sure we skew it intentionally.
There's like... A feature request somewhere.
@JasonC do you think I am 96 years old?
user202362
It's not users birthdays, it's a number of years those users get to live :p
@JasonC Age isn't even displayed except for the network profile now...
03:27
@Unikittyeatsacat at least. Clearly, dementia is setting in hard.
@hichris123 still in data dump (but corrupted)
@TelkittytheWebDeveloper it is their sentence.
@Shog9 How skewed? Like, totally destroyed? I have this query, duplicate questions per user by age: data.stackexchange.com/stackoverflow/query/435777#graph but based on whatever the funked up ages are.
Mobile chat bug found...
Skewed enough to make that query meaningless?
@Shog9 strange, I don't remember anything about world war 2
Actually, this is probably a better query: data.stackexchange.com/stackoverflow/query/435778#graph - dupes per question asked by age, but still, the skew?
Oh, @TimStone, maybe you have some insight. Do you think however you guys skew the ages + users lying about their ages makes that ^ query completely meaningless? Or is it still pretty representative.

No, I rewrote it.
@Quill Here: devdoodle.net/dev/37 Simulation node code starts at line 91.
oh, derp. right
hey @bjb, : a fork button on those /dev pages
@Quill Push save.
wow, that's a weird way to say fork
Yeah, I don't know why I did that.
22:14
not to mention the code I have is now titled Fork of Node.js HTTP Server Simulation
@Quill I think it may be better to go with "Save" since new users might not know what "Fork" means. What they want is to save their code. But with the title I can make it clear just what they did — they duplicated the program and made modifications. For experienced users, it won't matter since they know they can't actually edit other people's code anyway.
Or maybe it should be "Fork", then change to "Save" after you've made a modification.
^ yeah
if it says fork once you fork it anyway, that'd be confusing
Copy of @bjb's loremipsumwhatever
The next page says Save / Fork anyway
So I should change Fork to Copy in the program title?
… so no.

that depends whether you want to call the button fork on the code to be forked
