That's arguably a bug, or rather unintended behavior. Deletion of a profile nukes negatively scored questions regardless of the answers they had.

I can understand the motivation, but I think there should be some "saving grace" for downvoted posts on meta.

I was considering adding an SO careers profile, too.
@pizza I got mine back when they were starting the careers site. Somehow I made it to the top 30% of the tag, which bumped me into some "auto-invite" range.
I'm going to try to download all of my SE posts and put them all in one giant TeX book.

lifehacks is being way to strict in moderating
@Roombatron5000 Lifehacks kinda needs to be that way--they have way too broad of a site to be lenient.
Or are they being stricter than I'm assuming?
I'm just sitting back and watching my teammates goooo!
they're so eager to moderate I don't have to do much unless an issue comes up
1. My comment about using the banana peel method to make car slip off the road was deleted on [this question](https://lifehacks.stackexchange.com/questions/6613/how-do-i-stop-cars-from-tailgating)

2. [This question](https://lifehacks.stackexchange.com/questions/6575/putting-lawn-mower-into-car-trunk) was closed as too broad, even though its definitely not to broad. Nonetheless, I even edited it narrowing it down even more, and it's still not reopened.

3. Also on the tailgating question, a +4 answer was removed that told a story of bus driver hitting the brakes to have the cop who was tail
03:23

ur format sukz
@Roombatron5000 sure you can lift that lawnmower.... Even I could
user259867
@apnorton Yes, it should be easier to convert HTML than Markdown... at least I wouldn't be able to handle symmetric delimiters in Markdown with simple regexes. The HTML generated by SE involves a very small set of tags, so regex is feasible. Main issue is that not all valid Mathjax is valid TeX. But since you want to convert your posts, this is less of an issue.
@Roombatron You're not serious are you with number 2?
@Frank maybe it's the awkward shape or something, I'll give it another go
03:26
@Roombatron5000 it was actually a CM who deleted your comment along with 4 others
user259867
@apnorton You were probably going to write a Java program for that, but my JS script may be useful as a starter; specifically the array of replacements there. Essentially, all it does is run those replacements in the given order; the rest are decorations.
@Roombatron5000 item #3 was 'deleted by owner 15 hours ago'
@pizza Yeah. I was thinking about stealing your code.
user259867
Feel free to.
@Frank hmm, wonder why, that's surprising
03:28
yeah, not sure.
My original idea was to grab the markdown and run it through pandoc, but if I can do it all in one program, that would be better.
However, I'm not seeing a good way to use pandoc to generate only part of a TeX file (i.e. I just want the code for my post, not the whole top matter, \begin{document}...\end{document}, etc.
...which was what made me all happy inside when I saw your js file.
user259867
About the API -- you will want to also listen to other parameters in wrapper, such as has_more and backoff. Since it only returns 100 in a row, you'll need to make repeated requests using the page parameter.

didn't knew that one
@pizza true, but I was thinking about taking more than just the post content. I thought it would be fun to have a hardcopy record of my contributions, but then wanted to format it kind-of like the SE website (i.e. list original OP username and possibly picture, etc.) Using the API also makes it easier to integrate with short scripts, etc.
I had written this query before, which does pretty much what I want.
