@animuson I cannot imagine any scenario in which it makes sense to hide a used condom in a game case (clearly a CD case makes far more sense to anyone with half a brain)
@ajax333221 Aesthetics are important, no? Great code behind a horrid UI is going to be shot down quicker by many users than horrid code behind a great UI.
@ajax333221 In my experience, developer-designed UIs are usually absolutely miserable for the average non-developer user. Just a quick look at half the video encoders or torrent clients on the net makes the average user cringe.
It's about the little things. The totally artificial 'bump' when you scroll an iphone and it hits the top or bottom of the screen, the visual effect of an application opening when you click it -- those make the application 'feel' better to the average user. Perhaps in the sample question the delay serves such a purpose. Who are we to judge?

Not entirely sure if it's explicitly off-topic. CR might be a better target? And of course the question could be more self-contained. I.e. not "look at this other question I asked to get what I'm going for here".
Come to think of it, I don't know what the consensus was on code reviews on SO before the CR SE. Somehow I want to say "off-topic", but I'm not entirely certain.

I have an encryption/decryption code similar to this question. The difference is that I'm just decrypting a key I have previously encrypted and store it as String in my Constants class.
It's working fine but today I just found out that the code dies with this error:

Current Behavior
When a low-rep user proposes an edit, they see the question in its edited form even before their edit is approved.
When I vote to approve an edit (first vote), I do not see the edit I voted to approve...
It was closed as a duplicate of another question, which wasn't a feature-request. So, the result is a feature-request is lost. (Unless I misunderstand how the developers will peruse the site...)
I think this answer needs updated to say "Please be patient. Deletion is not an immediate process - do not post a meta question unless X days have passed since the request".

Questions like this one get closed as duplicates all the time, but often it's because users are impatient.
I feel like there is a disconnect between the "needs review" number, and the "reviews today" / "reviews all-time" numbers (in the close vote stats tab).
They're not really counting the same thing, so it's sort of misleading.

@ThiefMaster I figured I'd go a few times so at least they'd know I'm not too distraught over it, since I have a lot of trouble sharing my feelings with my parents. Everyone keeps worrying about me because I'm the one that found his body.
