Heh, maybe streaming Netflix without WiFi wasn't such a good idea =)
Good thing the bill cycle ends on the 10th I suppose.

Hi - any mod online (or at least someone with an account on SharePoint exchange)?
@SPArchaeologist what's up?
@balpha Hi balpha. I am experiencing some strange behavior on the SharePoint site.
Seems that only on that site the Collider does not work
define "does not work"
you click the collider and nothing happens
same browser works on all other sites
Hmm, works for me. Any JS errors?
07:30
even on Meta-Sharepoint
ummm You are right. There is some error related to web socket, but it happears even on meta, where the menu works
that shouldn't break the inbox though. Does anything appear at the moment when you click the supercollider?
no. But I just noticed a "SCRIPT3: The system cannot find the path specified." error buried under the web socket ones
for which file? And does all the other JavaScript functionality work? e.g. when you hover over your user name, does the profile popup appear?
No, the user menu does not work too. the file path is not specified though (or at least I don't see it). I am starting to think it is a proxy related problem on my side. Ok - leave me 5' to check - reporting soon. Just wanted to know if it was a personal or common problem.
Sounds more like some kind of browser cache problem. Try hard-refreshing, or fully flushing the cache in your browser.
07:42
already tried without luck. The strange thing is that it only happens on the main site, not on the meta one.
yeah, that's really strange. The javascript files are identical.
seems that the error is caused by the call to window.localstorage. That property causes the above error "system cannot find the path specified". Strange. Also google seems to point to the "dear" IE begin the cause (no wonder, but since I am doing some test with it I am pretty stuck with that "browser" right now)
what version?
(and yeah, "system cannot find the path specified" in response to accessing the local storage sounds like a sign of a deeper problem)
ie 10. Top of the cream game with all the lates bugs and magic weapons installed (this browser is better that Diablo: every day it generates a new level full of bugs for me to play...)

@AndrewBarber Hello, I need your help once again, for a flag review
08:38
@AndrewBarber Please ping me back when you are in chat room.
@balpha . Found. Corrupted permission on a specific file of the isolated storage. I still don't understand HOW this can impact only the main site and not meta, but I guess I will have to live with it. Now working as expected. Man 15 - Windows 0
more like this....
(obviously, as Sideshow Bob said, that is just a Dutch word. It means "The" as in "The browser")
(please disregard the English meaning.... -_-)
09:07
@Gordon Please ping me when you are around

I am waiting for you guys
10:45
@Lucifer ping
Hi, can you please again check my top flag
i mean today's top one
doesn't it looks like serial upvotes in small steps ?
@Lucifer yes
again i am 100% sure about this one
then also my flag got declined :( because your tool doesnt have enough evidence
that user has already previous serial votup & reversal history
I found another user like him, should i flag his post or not ?
because i afraid my flag may get declined again
@Lucifer i've pinged the mod
10:57
I cannot tell you whether you should flag the other user. I can see that this user might be running three sock puppets to fly under the radar of our automatic voting reversal script, but it will get detected through our other means sooner or later.
see the rep image of this new user
again it clearly looks serial voting
@Lucifer definitely.
hm,, once our conversion is finish i will flag it
@Lucifer you might want to open a post about flagging these things in general. It's not like it's wrong. It's just that it's … hmm … pre-emptive?
you mean i can ask question ? like this meta.stackoverflow.com/q/137940/173001
I am thinking to ask to post a question regarding this declined flag, in different way
11:13
@Lucifer sorry, I am bit distracted atm
@Lucifer I just mean a general question whether it's appropriate (or necessary) to flag these users when you notice them.
hmm ok,
Got to go now. I've pinged the mod who declined the flag, so he might ping you back.
just a min
i have just flagged the another user, have a look at my top flag
ok, you carry on please :)

@SPArchaeologist well, technically it wouldn't be "the" but "that". "Die" in dutch is specifically referring to something, like in a choice, eg: when asked "what item do you want?" you'd reply (whilst pointing at something): "that one" (not "the one", unless you thing you live in the matrix haha).
Good morning to you to!
13:05
Good Evening :)
@GitaarLAB - wrong translation then. In my country the scene with the text "Die, Bart, Die" was translated with Bob telling it meant "The Bart, the".
13:39
worst title ever ;) — codebox 6 mins ago
LOL

@SPArchaeologist Did Sideshow Bob actually say it was Dutch? If German, "the" would be correct.
Yes, german. And then indeed it's correct.

Another of society's important questions resolved in The Tavern
Haha. Well it is The Tavern, right? It sure beats 'picking on Neal' (as is recently starred) :)
15:32
:D
16:03
How does that beat picking on Neal?
It sure beats brown.
17:01
@mootinator That is unforgivable.
Nothing beats brown.
It goes 1. Brown, 2. Picking on Neal, and 3. Answering questions or something.
1. Excuses 2. Brown 3. Picking on Neal 4. Basking in the light of mootinator's glory. 5. Pinging @Tim
6. Pinging @Tim
7.
17:26
Pops-Perturbing Pedantic Problem of the Day: why hasn't the severely outdated "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" been replaced by "The Boy Who Pinged Tim" yet?
17:37
Apparently it has.
17:53
@jadarnel27 Brown University Bears - baseball, 2013: overall 3-19, pct. 0.136
Hmmm. Alright. So Brown is a better color than a sports team (see also: the Cleveland Browns, American football).
18:22
I think there's a conspiracy not to have a stack overflow meetup day while I'm near populated regions this year.
Are you aware of any solid plans to have any SO meetups this year, anywhere?
Me? Nope.
I should ask the Shog...
I think they're too busy enjoying their new office to say: "Hey guys we picked a date."
I wonder if I can summon Josh just with the power of thought ...
I don't feel like it's fair to ask him to come here in a venue I actually have the freedom to do so :p
18:31
Wait, which Josh?
Shog's name may or may not be Josh
It may also be Shog, or "oh Great Bodiless One"
Could even be "hatface"
I just wasn't sure whether you meant real Josh, fake Josh or whether you were still talking about Josh who doesn't go by Josh here.
Obviously I meant Josh's Socks, which should be easy to tell when they show up because I haven't heard of them being washed in a while
I think it's a bit ambiguous who is real Josh and who is fake Josh these days.
18:48
Them's fightin' words.
@PopularDemand None have been planned. If anyone is interested in meetups, these events will have to be largely organized by the communities themselves — See Coordinating Meetups....
@jadarnel27 Obviously Neal is real Josh.
@mootinator GREEN
@RobertCartaino Just an internal note: when these things are "officially sanctioned" there tends to be higher turnout, as more folks have visibility.
We should set the day for May 4. So we geeks can all get together and repeatedly say "May the 4th be with you." then give each other high fives.
DO IT.
19:04
@mootinator <sup>high fours</sup>
FTFY
And there will have to be a urine counter in the men's room which detects whether more people are peeing on Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker.
You ... are doing this at your house again aren't you?
I really hope those cables are longer than 8 inches
Ha
Seriously though. All urination should involve an element of market research.
19:13
Giant whiteboard walls at the office are now commencing being drawn on. They just got painted less than a week ago.
10' by 12' whiteboards
Why'd they need to be painted? Did someone use them for market research?
I did, how did you know?
Wild guess.

Unfortunately, it looks like the bottom spot is impossible to overtake.
I'd downvote that for a dollar.
Just kidding.
I'd downvote that for free!
Free downvote from Josh. Otherwise known as a "Panama Special".
