@AndreasmovedtoCodidact well yes, but finding out why a post got downvotes might be impossible many times, and only lead to more disappointment and anger. The amount of times I've seen user being pleased after "why this was downvoted" is near 0, while the rage quits even after single downvote (as in this case) are numerous.

People can spend years on SO without getting a single downvote, then when they get one.... Game Over, End of World etc.
