@AndreasmovedtoCodidact I retracted the red flag, but I'm still not 100% convinced if this was/is not a trolling attempt... anyway, since it is not in English...the NAA is the easier way to deal with it
@Vickel Well, based on your description, it’s not in English (NAA for answers), and the translation shows itr’s not gibberish, rude, etc? Just a non-answer? Then, NAA. If it’s completely unrelated to anything on the site, like a story about one’s first meeting with a wild animals, on SO, that’d be RA.
Ah, yeah, possible trolling. That’s definitely RA if true.
@AndreasmovedtoCodidact that's what I commented on Metasmoke
@NotThatGuy That’s wonderful… If you’d have a history of bad-faith argumenting, I’d understand the moderator’s actions, if they’d confirmed you were actually doing it in this case. I didn’t look into the sources linked to, nor the topic, so I’ve no idea. Anyway, from what I could read, those RA flags were correctly cast.
@ShadowWizardLoveZelda Isn’t sand crunchy?
@Petəíŕd The Spring Wizard So set up a bell on your desk that gets shaken every time you receive a ping.
@Vickel that's fine, I spam flagged it, then translated it
@NotThatGuy I invoke the vegas rule
what happens in vegas needs to stay in vegas, and you have no way of knowing the mod upvoted it
@AndreasmovedtoCodidact I'd say if they consider me to have a history of bad-faith argumentation, or if they consider the "liar" judgement to be accurate, maybe declining the flags conceivably makes sense. But even in that case, their comments should be deleted (or moved to chat) along with my comments, because what they said is wildly inappropriate for comments, especially given that they posted 4 separate comments to respond to my 1. At best, that's going pretty far into "extended discussion".

@JourneymanGeek I retracted my red flag, but left that comment on Metasmoke (for TROLLING)... maybe I should start taking a stronger stance to my 1st opinions :) ?
@Vickel I think there's a unwritten convention that non english posts on regular sites is fair game
@JourneymanGeek Not sure what "vegas" is, in your analogy. In any case, yes, I am speculating a bit, based on 2 events happening within a few minutes from one another (which was separated by hours from when the comments were posted). But what I do know for sure is that a mod saw my flags and didn't delete the comments (at the time of writing).
@NotThatGuy basically you don't draw problems on one site into another
@NotThatGuy sucks but I think you can't do anything that won't make things worse
the 'proper' way to get attention might be meta
12:21 AM
Whoops, wrong reply
I mean, you could burn the whole place down if you're not planning on returning there
@JourneymanGeek meta for a bunch of comments is usually not a good idea
The issue would seem trivial by default, and so would any wrongdoing
@M.A.R. as a moderator? Its a policy issue, mods are not infallible, and its an opportunity to set boundaries/markers
That comment is certainly out of line.
So is that one
And the other two
Well cripes maybe meta isn't such a bad idea.
@JourneymanGeek its an apostrophe issue
Also I have no idea what you're replying to
I mean, most metas take rudeness seriously, but most metas about comments are like "what's the big deal, it's just a bunch of comments"
These ones are pretty clearly rude though.
@JourneymanGeek using the NAA for non English content is actually just logical, since we are not supposed to be forced to translate ANY stuff... but normally I like to look in deeper (and translate) to find eventual spam, R/A or trolling
@JourneymanGeek I don't have much hope of changing them from the inside, given the bias mods have demonstrated. But it still seems worth pointing out to others what's going on there occasionally, because they're part of the SE network and their questions show up in HNQ. (and MSE is at least about the SE network - I wouldn't really post this elsewhere, unless it's just part of casual conversation making)
. . . Well that's enough of that site for today. Honestly. Jeez. Seriously.
We should go back to talking about something less polarizing. Like politics
12:44 AM
lol
@M.A.R. stop peeking at my screen, I'm watching Perun :D
@M.A.R. to "meta for a bunch of comments..."

Hello Houston, there is a problem. I tried to ask a question on bitcoin.stackexchange.com . But it always fails, from one iPhone with Safari, from one other iPhone, from a Mac with Safari. When I click “Review your question”, nothing happens. Can someone correct the site ? Can someone help me ?

2 things to try, complain on the bitcoin meta, and if that also fails, try on our meta. And that's a useful troubleshooting step. Also try to see if the equivilent of incogno mode helps?
and by our, I mean main

@JourneymanGeek Trying to post in Bitcoin Meta gives the same problem. Trying to post as guest gives the same problem.
