I would've expected they'd have you on chat, if anyone was...didn't you basically build it?

@RyanM Together with Marc, yeah. And maybe if significant chat work were planned, that's where I would've ended up, but since it's not (AFAIK), I didn't.

FWIW some higher-up pointed out the other day that chat is basically the only site we have that is never down, so there's an advantage to not working on it 😄

@balpha Yeah, it's really a testament to your work how stable it's been, and how well it's survived with minimal changes. Pretty much everyone goes straight to chat whenever the main site is having outages to see if it's just them. I can only think of a tiny handful of instances (at least 1, no more than 3) where instability was shared with chat.

Yeah chat is durable. And simple. Not much that can break.

And not enough traffic to ever worry about.
