Thinking about it, HA-Proxy could have an authentication cookie (separate from the user-login cookies and not tied to a particular account) which would allow bypassing the check. If the cookie is set by the backend, it would make it easy to tell apart logged in users from logged out users.
Is the frontend of SE open source? I know that most of SE is closed.

There's a lot of that, one sentence after another without breaks and poor layout.

How do I tell if I've already voted to delete an answer?
Without submitting a delete vote and seeing if an error message appears, that is.
22:31
Uhhh.
Isn't there a 1 next to delete?

@JourneymanGeek There's a (2)

@forestdistrustsStackExchange I built a script to help with this, actually! stackapps.com/q/9286
Does Stack Apps just use the public API through the browser client-side? If so I could find out manually (I don't like installing scripts).

@forestdistrustsStackExchange if(deleteButtons[i].getAttribute("data-has-active-vote") == "true") is what the script does. Inspecting the attributes of the element with "delete" is not very fun but manageable...
Yeah, was just about to say, that's how I determined whether you'd voted or not.
data-is-deleted="false" data-has-active-vote="true" data-has-deleted-vote="false"
cool
And data-has-active-vote is what determines that I've already voted?

Mhm.
Same is applicable for the close and reopen buttons (they're the same button, technically)
(From a recent answer about the "Z" symbol)
> we do not plan to allow statements in direct support for the invasion of Ukraine because they fall under the intimidation and harassment policy in our CoC
I have to wonder if that applies only to Ukraine, or if it's "acceptable" to support other contemporary invasions.
