Staff accounts can't be deleted by us, anyway. If I remember correctly.

@EkadhSingh He checks each one. I'm not sure (as I'm not a CM and I don't know if they can or not) but I feel as though CMs can probably see deleted posts from the network activity page of any profile, and can confirm whether that user is actually spamming across the network.

@hyper-neutrino A certain chat participant that I will absolutely not name but whose name starts with an M and ends in an l and has the letters ithica in between is stupefyingly hilarious, especially the first fourteen hundredth time they made Smokey into their puppet.

I'm actually unsure if the one I linked before has a deleted answer somewhere else. Looking at MS, that domain they spammed only had the one hit.

@Luuklag Several years ago, back when mods had the ability to merge users and SpamRam didn't really exist, SU mods would merge all spammers into a single user.

@Anonymous If you've submitted a contact us request, then please just hold on. The backlog could very well be large. Patience is an absolute virtue, and you're more likely to get a nice response if you don't kick up a fuss because you didn't get one in the timeframe that you wanted it within.

@Catija Yeah, my previous computer mouse would often register two clicks even when clicking only once. Fixed by getting a new mouse

I was also annoyed that my mouse would still move even if I'd lifted it off the pad. I fixed that by getting an older-style mouse with a ball at the bottom

every mouse i've bought in the past 10 years has done the double clicking bit eventually

my work mouse seems to be immune to it

...I should probably elaborate: I didn't just buy one, but a bundle of four of them

did you ever tried grinding your own beans? it's the most confusing thing; you get the most decent quality and the taste keep changing even if you keep it in best thermal condition

Only if it's cold outside. I drink iced tea like a good southerner but I mostly get it at restaurants rather than making it at home.

@NordTheLoftyWizard husband does every day. He's got a fancy kettle, fancy burr grinder, Chemex, AeroPress, buys locally roasted coffee... etc

@Catija I see. How does he manage the taste? is it always the same taste i mean? I don't know how people do it and make the taste consistent all the time

any old grounds, it alters the taste

The burr grinder helps and brewing cleanly with consistent volume of water and temperature. Coffee is fickle if you're not careful.

I grew up in Seattle so coffee has always been interesting... I just can't drink it without drowning in in cream and sugar which isn't sustainable.

@ThomasWard In hindsight, I did keep it clean, but I guess there was some grounds left and I didn't notice...what do you recommend cleaning it with? just water? vinegar? the usual bubbly stuff for washing dishes?

if you have a really high end type of grinder, you might be able to open the mechanisms and air-clean it with compressed air.
