@JourneymanGeek Sorry, that was intended as a joke ๐Ÿ˜… I use Dark Reader, which happens to fix it as part of turning the site into dark mode.

2:23 AM
@RyanM Ah!
@JitendraSingh uh, people need weekends too. You can wait for folks to come in. That process tends to take a while but I'm pretty sure there's a formal pipeline for it

@JourneymanGeek @Tinkeringbell I requested my one of SE network account deletion which says it need permission from developer and it has been 48 hours till then but no deletion. Please help @Philippe @Catija

@JitendraSingh As above.
Account deletion when you have votes needs a human to look things through IIRC
humans have working hours - SE isn't a 24/7 shop ๐Ÿ˜…
So unless its a matter of personal safety- you can wait

@JourneymanGeek And I am not even a 12/7 shop ;)

If it is, chat's still not the appropriate place for it

@JourneymanGeek It is not as such anything too severe so I guess I can wait

2:27 AM
Yes you can
Its worth keeping in mind, even where official roles exist, chat is primarily a social, not professional space
As a moderator of record here (and I use this term specifically, since there's a few non MSE/SU chatrooms where I'm trusted to help moderate :D ) - I take a dim view of folks trying to use chat to 'cut the queue' or demand faster answers so to speak.
also, its sunday night there. 10.30pm in New York

2 hours later…
4:39 AM
@JitendraSingh The queue is only processed on Wednesdays and Fridays

Q: What can highly-active users who want to delete their accounts expect if their account is held up for review for vote preservation?

Sonic the Anonymous HedgehogIt's a known fact that users who've cast a lot of votes qualify for potentially having their votes preserved in case they request their account be deleted, because invalidating all their votes as is done normally can cause too much disruption to a lot of other users. In that case, an employee has...

@SonictheAnonymousHedgehog So I have to wait till Wednesday ๐Ÿ˜‘. Better I will eat that printed pizza 100 time till then ;)

@JitendraSingh Patience is a virtue. Its also a card game for one

@JourneymanGeek oh, I had exactly 0% chance to guess it. :P
@JourneymanGeek @SPArcheon what you say?

Don't you know there's kids in america with no patience?

6:50 AM
OK, @JitendraSingh come watch a concert in Israel in one of those dates!
:D

7:31 AM
@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 Definitely just that translate that to Hindi or English as I don't know this language
@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 Good you didn't say Ice-cream pizza lover ;)

@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 why 3 moons?

@Luuklag cause the budget didn't cover 3 wolves

7:47 AM
@JourneymanGeek hahaha

7:59 AM
@JitendraSingh Art is cross language ;)
@JitendraSingh huh! I will keep that in mind! :P
@Luuklag it's 30 (years that singer is active)

@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 so that's no moon?

Aviv Geffen (Hebrew: ืื‘ื™ื‘ ื’ืคืŸโ€Ž, born 10 May 1973) is an Israeli rock musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, keyboardist, and guitarist and the son of writer and poet Yehonatan Geffen and Nurit Makover, brother of actress Shira Geffen, and an alumnus of Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music. In addition to his solo career, Geffen is a founding member of the band Blackfield , he was also the global music director for WeWork. Geffen was and is extremely popular among Israeli youth who were known during the 1990s as the "Moonlight Children" (ื™ืœื“ื™ ืื•ืจ ื”ื™ืจื—). Politically, he associates...
@JourneymanGeek oh, it's a moon. Kind of his symbol.
Let me find some reference...

"we was also the global music director for WeWork."
._.

Rob
Name sounds funny reversed.

@JourneymanGeek he was. Yeah, what about it? :)
@Rob Viva Neffeg?

8:02 AM
wework was... full wieeeerrrddddd

@JourneymanGeek it still is, company isn't dead. I think?
Last I heard they only kicked out the one who created it.

@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 not as wierd as the "private plane pilots won't fly the CEO cause he had weed in the plane"

lol didn't hear about this one.

@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 and the company that bought it lost a lot in the process

GoWork, WeWork, StopWork

Rob
8:04 AM
I remember from elementary school someone whose first name is Geefin, or however it was spelled; people taunted him about his name, amoungst dozens of other people.

ohhh it's in the Wikipedia page itself.
> Geffen was and is extremely popular among Israeli youth who were known during the 1990s as the "Moonlight Children"
So ever since, that goes with him. (moon reference)
@Rob heh, was he Israeli?

@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 I was talking about the image usage by the dog.

Rob
@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 I don't know.

8:15 AM
@SPArcheon oh :(
So half eaten patience is uncouth? cries

Rob
@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 So, that music is awful; by most standards - there's no way someone's going to pay to see that. Examples: youtu.be/sdVg0W3zJdI youtu.be/R8l87VFU7ew

YOU EAT IT ALL YOUNG MAN. AND YOU WILL BE GRATEFUL.
(also couth isn't a word... neither is gruntled)

@Rob well there is Giffin
> Irish: reduced form of McGiffin, an Anglicized form of Gaelic Mag Dhuibhfinn 'son of Duibhfionn'. English: from a pet form of the Norman personal name Geffrei (see Jeffrey).

@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 the throwing part is.

Rob
To be even, and not one sided, here's some guy singing in North America - arguably it's far better, incomparable: youtu.be/izGwDsrQ1eQ youtu.be/eFjjO_lhf9c

8:18 AM
@Rob the clip is terrible, the music is not. I liked it as teenager. :)

Rob
Check out those last two links.

@SPArcheon hmm so maybe I can poke with it?
@Rob not sure what you try to do, compare the Israeli singer to one of the biggest singers in history? Of course he's not there, it's like comparing NBA to elementary school basketball team.

Rob
@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 They are not biggest, nor even well liked in their own area. Frequently if you reversed what you say you'd be 100% correct.
That's how I know what you are saying - it's exactly what you are saying, or the opposite.

2:35 PM
@Luuklag ? did that one posted something?

@SPArcheon Yes, last smokey before my post

@Luuklag For a second I though you were just pointing out the usual spam profile description.
By now one would hope they had some keyword filtering at least for the most blatant cases
^ if you want to nuke this one @JourneymanGeek

@Luuklag gone

4:04 PM
@Luuklag confused about this one... what made you signal this as a spammer account?
@Luuklag gone
@Luuklag this is the same as the previous one, no?
@JourneymanGeek gone
there ya go, a short-lived backlog ;)

4:45 PM
It has been 0 days without backlog!

@Tinkeringbell but how many hours?

I forgot to set a timer :P

@JNat yup, silly me being silly

@SonictheAnonymousHedgehog, seeing you're the FAQ master, what do you think of this revision? I'm personally inclined to roll it back: meta.stackexchange.com/revisions/164900/132

Rob
@Spevacus That's quite the thing about @JNat post you pinged me about, after being offered the position and both of us volunteer, he was told to just run an election; when Juan knows we don't have the reputation.

@Rob We both do still have the time to try and earn the required reputation, to be fair. The rest of the month is a decent chunk of time.
That said, if it turns out we can't, I'd hate to see the site close. Seriously.

You guys need 300 rep, to join right?

Mhmm.

Rob
You know their aren't visitors or votes enough to do that.

8:57 PM
@Luuklag Rolled it back, the rep cap isn't really a rate limit of how many actions a user can take at a time.

@Rob It appears you don't have any posts there?

@Rob Probably. Still, I'd like to try. I've got half an answer to another question here I'd like to finish, and potentially one more on another. I'd rather at least try than potentially have the site close as a result of our inability to run.

Ah nope, using a different profile image

Rob
I already explained, that's not what the problem is. These positions come up every few months, they can give me the next one if those are the terms.

Ooh, just noticed that P. Mort has exactly 8000 edits
