@JourneymanGeek it would be interesting to discuss. However, that might just focus the remaining toxicity at one place – and make it even more visible.
But I see where you are coming from. I don't want to be the one SO staff member to disclose that "such tracking ads are ok for now and we are not dealing with them right away".
I guess the staff members are feeling the same way as me when it comes to meta downvotes. Maybe it was bad on the CMs to ignore it the last time I tried to raise it with them?
I have to sleep on it too :) I don't have a clear vision. While I am totally against toxicity on Meta and understand both sides of SO frustration, I have certainly lately myself contributed to it, at least implicitly and without ill-intent.
As a semi-cat person, which is a label I probably won't ever understand since I'm probably never going to have a pet anyway, some dogs always looked power hungry to me.
Hint, hint.
@AntonMenshov I'm waiting for his next post to correct his itses.
@M.A.R. more along the lines of i would like it so we don't always seem more mad at them, and they're comfortable talking to us.
There's certainly an interest in actual CMing but I do not and cannot speak for SO in the sorta official capacity we sometimes need as a mod. I can just try to build bridges and put out fires
