Every time I am having an open house, there is a downpour. And the personal hotspot on the phone stopped working because I reset network settings, I reset network setting because I tried to resolve a problem in the app. It didn't resolve the problem & now the personal hotspot stopped working too.

Q: Is the term "man hours" appropriate for the workplace, and if not, how do I get my coworkers to use a more neutral term?

I tried the same URL on Web Apps, got a blocking message. But on Ethereum there isn't one (the check runs when the editor loses focus, it's not necessary to post).

Poor Bitcoin site is still flooded by duplicates, despite having a featured "Unconfirmed transaction? Read here" post in the sidebar. NEEDS MORE CAPS in the title.

Once upon a time, there was this idea that we'd just blacklist patterns that appeared in spam as a matter of course. It... was kinda over-kill. But, the system that underpinned it lives on, and has been put to new uses.

I'm heavily using std::set<int> and often I simply need to check if such a set contains a number or not. I'd find it natural to write: if (myset.contains(number)) ... But because of the lack of a contains member, I need to write the cumbersome: if (myset.find(number) != myset.end()) .. ...
