@JonEricson, Perhaps what's appropriate, prior to showing a template, is to have the user select from a set of radio buttons as to why they are asking a question. For example: "My code doesn't work the way I want"; "There's a concept I have a question about";[some other options]; "My question is not specifically about programming" (direct them to some other site); and "My question is specifically about programming, but doesn't fit any of the above". @OptimusPrime some time ago I was at a conference. They were presenting a series of events about Chinese culture (food, art, science etc). The speakers were all people from the town. While listening to some of the presentations, I noticed a young girl sitting in the last row. She was playing with her smartphone which was decorated with pink glitter. I assumed she was the daughter of some of the people presenting and was about 13-14 years old....

Then after a while she was called to the microphone.... and I learned that she probably was at least 30 and had a master degree in quantum physic....

so, yes, it that is true I am not that surprised.

Well.. the way Jon had initiated a talk to us (i.e. all ROs) made us feel like he was trying to give us a chance. And at last of the conversation, he had asked to raise this on meta. We did whatever he said. But he didn't feel like at least giving us proper reply whether it is bad or good. After all this we deserve a reply at least. If his plan was to close the room since the begining he shouldn't have asked us to raise this on meta at first place.

That's what making us feel bad

Anyway sorry to bring that up.

I just said that because everyone kept asking me why do I want our room to be opened again.
