The ads on Stack Overflow have upvote and downvote buttons. Isn't it odd that we never see a company rep complain: "This was my first ad placed on Stack Overflow, and it was quickly downvoted. Very discouraging."

I only do the thumb-down thing on the ads for ru.SO, with the reason "this ad is offensive". It's telling me "the place for Russian hackers is over there, at the end of the bus".

They corrected the title twice. First changed "abut' to "about", and then added "the" before "same". SE uses the title as a part of URL. And Google is very quick to index SE.

Don't you love when you install something, your disk space suddenly is at 0%, you clear stuff up, retry the installation, and it starts all the way from 0% when it was some 20 GB installation that took about 3 hours?

I thought math was supposed to work as expected in Python 3... but 2**numpy.arange(-3, 0) returns [0, 0, 0]. Unlike, say, 2/numpy.arange(-3,0) which returns [-0.66666667, -1., -2.]. Looks like it's halfway there...
