Q: What's the most reasonable way to fit Monsters in your Pocket?

Serban TanasaSay you have a hollow sphere, about the size of the grapefruit, comprised of a (let's say red) top half and a (let's say white) bottom half. There's an articulated lid, and an LED on the front. Most importantly, it fits in the pocket of your pants (or skirt, if skirts have pockets). Now, someho...

Ever read "About Face"? Awesome book. Brilliant author. Lots of terrible advice for the time in which it was originally written.
Which is fine. Society caught up; the ideas that were ahead of their time came into their own.
But still... If you wanted to write an app that folks could actually use without a brutal learning curve... Best take it all with a grain of salt.
There's something to be said for just looking at what people do... In your app... And adjusting accordingly to support them. Instead of designing for caricatures you create based on some idea of how "people act in general".

@Derpy yup, those also think women can't have jobs and must serve their husbands and raise their children alone.

@ShadowWizard luckily, he is not yet gone so far. Just one of the crowd thinking that fun&dreams are just a children thing.

Hi. I'd like to know what are your strategies to keep a repository of your favorite duplicate (FAQ) questions to use for close voting. I'm currently using my favorites list for this, but since it's growing and not well searchable (despite I'm missing some trick), it's going tedious to maintain and for practical use of quick closure decisions (through the dupe hammer). I'll spend a shot of whishey for everyone who likes to discuss that with me.

I personally close whatever I don't like against the C++ book list question, and let the bastards of The Lounge take over and chase them away.
