Well, I'm going to push ahead and go to college.
This kat is ready.

@Rathony if you are threatened by a mod, a private chat will guarantee a more serious abuse at 99% percentile confidence interval

user202362
you best option is to go on meta and post a very public question, you will sink like a leaking ship anyway, but you will go down like a hero

user202362
Otherwise you will just get silently abused. I have see users disappearing. It's only long after I found out what happened to those people ...

1:43 AM
@Rathony home now; email whenever

user202362
I was violated again last night ... the same chats no responsive stuff around the same time too

@Telkitty I can say with 1-α confidence that 99 percent percentile confidence intervals aren't a thing.
@zaq You haven't seen religious arguments on YouTube before? Really, the level of intelligence in those is (low) enough to disprove intelligent design.

user315433
Come to think of it, I rarely read anything on Youtube.

In statistics, a confidence interval (CI) is a type of interval estimate of a population parameter. It is an observed interval (i.e., it is calculated from the observations), in principle different from sample to sample, that potentially includes the unobservable true parameter of interest. How frequently the observed interval contains the true parameter if the experiment is repeated is called the confidence level. In other words, if confidence intervals are constructed in separate experiments on the same population following the same process, the proportion of such intervals that contain the true...

@Telkitty I know. Just s/percentile// in your original post.
@zaq That's good.
So I'm just applying to Carnegie Mellon (cc @jasonc) this year, expecting another year of HS.

@rene Some options are absent when flagging own post, such as spam and abusive. But everyone with 15 rep can flag for mod attention, including on own posts.

user315433
So I don't know what that user had trouble with. Possibly the script that shows the dialog window was blocked by something.

Ok, I thought so. I have done my best then. If users (deliberately?) break their system so the site doesn't work as intended I'm out of options

8:58 AM
Should I flag stackoverflow.com/a/41341674/247702 for mod review? It's a nonsense answer that got upvoted, but it's by an unregistered account so maybe it doesn't matter..
I'm thinking voting fraud

@Stijn we have a mod in SOCVR present so you can ask there. But you're right that it looks strange

@rene ah good to know

@Stijn also on the timeline it got reviewed in the First posts queue
assuming the downvote is yours, did the review action of that review included an upvote?

the downvote is mine yes

That begs for investigation

9:04 AM
yeah I've pinged Bhargav in SOCVR

9:18 AM
@Telkitty were they abducted by little blue aliens?
@Stijn well, @BhargavRao is also pingable here.... :)

@ShadowWizard I'm still working on my first coffee so I'm a little slow right now.. :)

@Stijn first coffee.... so it's 8:20 at your place?

10:20
I start late
I don't like getting up in the morning and usually work 9:30-18:00

I also don't like getting up in the morning. In fact, I'm still asleep

9:36 AM
@ShadowWizard Woo, Howz that possible? o_O

@BhargavRao in case someone makes a post in a room, he/she remains pingable for 7 days, even if they're not actually in the room. :)
It goes even beyond: even if only visit a room where you posted in the past, you'll be pingable for 7 days.

Err, That was meant to be a joke and you ruined it. :/

lolz
Can't know :D

@ShadowWizard Oh, That doesn't work. Someone did a "flying visit" and I couldn't ping them.

So @Bhargav what was that weird answer? Was is vote fraud attempt?

9:47 AM
Ah, Yeah, They must have posted before.

@BhargavRao yup

@ShadowWizard Dunno, mods can't see one or two votes. But I think it's just some robo reviewers.

Ask @Bart about it... the poor soul fall into my Den sometimes. ;)
@BhargavRao oh, that's bad... those should get review ban then.

Yeah, I've bookmarked that page. Once I finish the mod queue then I'll check those.

what did you have for lunch? The mod queue

9:53 AM
And some spam for breakfast

lol

@BhargavRao don't forget troll sauce.

Yep, That's quite tasty
@Shadow, Why didn't ya stand for the elections? Being a mod ain't that tough

@BhargavRao nah, not active enough on SO in the last few years
I had a "growth spurt" there, but then reached... saturation? Not sure how to define it. :)

saturation will do

9:58 AM

Oh, Smokey is here too! Hi smokey.

"Modeling constraints with Choco (CSP)" people come up with the most ridiculous project names.. this is choco:

@Stijn no. This is Choco:

user202362
@ShadowWizard Your point is? humans love dangerous animals - both cats and dogs were predators in the wild, their ancestors ate other animals for food, but most of people still prefer them over sheep & rabbits.

@Telkitty sheep and rabbits make more mess

user202362
rabbits don't make more mess than dogs

@Stijn what, no potty training for the rabbit?! ;)

didn't have it for that long though, it was supposed to be a pygmy rabbit but turned out to be the size of a full grown cat

seriously I think if you always want your pet to be obedient and do what it's told, always be clean and never make a mess, you just don't love your pet enough

@rene flag the answer, but the OP is the kind of person who might be panicked/offended/upset when noticing all the comments are gone. Better ask her to delete the comments, then delete yours.

Nice... I'll probably go to see the new movie soon.

user315433
I'll wait for a Blu Ray, dislike the popcorn smell.

9:34 PM
@zaq lol, now that's a very original reason to avoid cinema...

user315433
Seriously, I think there's an underserved market for no-food, no-drinks movie theaters.

In Israel popcorn (in cinema) costs more than gold, so very few people buy it. No smell. come here to watch movies, @zaq. :D
The small sized popcorn costs ~5 USD
half the price of a ticket
@zaq dunno how it is like at your place, but here movie theatres are making most of their money from selling food and drinks. So movie theatre without it will go bankrupt very quickly.

user315433
I think it's about the same here.

(popcorn is exceptionally expensive, other things cost a lot, but not insane price)
It's like printers are cheap, while the ink is expensive.
Talking about theatre... @James you still playing? :)
