@TelkittytheWebDeveloper it would only make us a couple thousand dollars... if he wasn't too busy playing cs:go
he got addicted to it after getting his computer parts
and has about 600 hours on it now
from the past 4 months
idk, maybe he played before
i'm trying my luck with making gaming apps, but the competition is big for those

Even though I knew that the sidebar would be 300px, I didn't realize it'd be that noticeable.

@AndrewT. You'll get used to it. :P

Yeah, I'm not the one affected with the change (using ~1900px with maximized browser), but somehow, for that reason, the HNQ is looking a bit awkward with 300px.
But that's just me.

yeah, I notice it too.

user202362
2 fan patches ... is that because you are a mod?

user202362
also, swag should be on the FedEx truck since 2.65 hours ago, but I have no idea where that truck is ...

1:09 AM
@AndrewT. nope

@TelkittytheWebDeveloper ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@TelkittytheWebDeveloper that's… an interesting measurement

I almost think the sidebar needs less padding in between HNQ items and in between hot meta posts.

And the thousands of pixels on either side of the content…

@TelkittytheWebDeveloper maybe the top 5 ones get two patches
@Doorknob Awesome!

2:44 AM
@hichris123 what? No. shutup.

I guess I struck a nerve.

I like being able to use the site on my phone. With fingers.

Anybody here in San Francisco?

not I.
@Shog9 Y'know there's a mobile site... right?

which is very nice for reading late at night
but not really a replacement for the full site
There's no linked questions
There's no related questions.
No hot questions
Mod tools are borked
etc.
It's better than the mobile app, but... Only because it still actually runs in a browser.

2:56 AM
Hmm, maybe you should make a meta post about that and bother a Stack Exchange employee into fixing it.

Or I could just use the full site
which works just fine
unless someone babbles on too much about whitespace

Depends on your definition of fine.
Works fine on a tablet.
On a 4.5-5" phone? not as much.

Adjective: fine ‎(comparative finer, superlative finest)
  1. (heading) Of subjective quality.
  2. (informal) Being acceptable, adequate, passable, or satisfactory.
  3. (informal) Good-looking, attractive.
  4. Subtle, delicately balanced.
  5. (obsolete) Showy; overdecorated.
(15 more not shown…)
Adverb: fine ‎(comparative more fine, superlative most fine)
  1. expression of agreement
  2. (dated, dialect, colloquial) Finely; elegantly; delicately.
  3. fine
  4. fine
Noun: fine ‎(plural fines)
  1. Fine champagne; French brandy.
  2. 1936, Djuna Barnes, Nightwood, Faber & Faber 2007, p. 18:
  3. (usually in the plural) something that is fine; fine particles
  4. fine ‎(plural fines)
  5. fine ‎(plural fines)
(10 more not shown…)
Verb: fine ‎(third-person singular simple present fines, present participle fining, simple past and past participle fined)
  1. (transitive) to make finer, purer, or cleaner; to purify or clarify.
  2. (intransitive) to become finer, purer, or cleaner.
  3. To change by fine gradations.
  4. (transitive) to clarify (wine and beer) by filtration.
  5. fine ‎(third-person singular simple present fines, present participle fining, simple past and past participle fined)
(4 more not shown…)
Let's go with... 2 & 3.

that is a large onebox

YEAH

2:58 AM
Amazon-style
Hmm, taking a second look only the community bulletin bothers me.
the rest (HNQ, related questions) seem less padding-y.

user202362
Mobile site sux IMHO ... I like to be able to upload random useless picture :D

user202362
Also, hopefully by the time I am back home tonight, my swag will be sitting nice & sweet in my front or backyard 👚💃🏻
