I guess the bug arises when %ef%bf%bd is followed by other characters that require URI encoding as above; URI unencoding algorithm doesn't handle it.

Hm, I can subscribe to anyone's topbar notification, not just my own. For example, Shog now has green 45 in his topbar; the amount acquired since he last checked it.

@hichris123 That websockets also reports the number of unread notifications, but only when it changes (either up or down). I haven't got one for either Shog, Jon Skeet, or Gilles; waiting...

It does not return the text of notifications.

I'm using it to have inbox notifications in chat; by the way, I couldn't figure out how to actually clear them so I simply hide the button after it's clicked.

This works reasonably well, because the button will reappear only if a new signal comes through with a positive UnreadCount; and that can only mean a new notification.

I still haven't gotten any UnreadInboxCounts, but they are public too: I just pinged my bot and got "Inbox":{"UnreadInboxCount":1}}" from their topbar channel.
