Better?

Ohhhh @JonChan are all of the community blogs going to switch over to the Jekyll/GH Pages format?

user259867
@hichris123 The ones that are not dead yet.

Which is approximately 0 of them.

12:04 AM
@Dronehinge It's like 3 minutes into the UTC day... can I have my coffee first?

user259867
It's low-quality, too.

@1999 Well, some sites (like CR) wanted blogs but were told "no new blogs at the present -- we're redoing our blogs". I guess this was the redo?

user259867
And why do our reviews have to be of low quality anyway?

@hichris123 we talked about it but not in the foreseeable future

user259867
@hichris123 This doesn't look like anything that would fix the problems of community blog. It's just a technical facelift.

user259867
12:06 AM
Admittedly, the thing not being wordpress widens the integration possibilities... some time...

@JonChan Meaning... you're going to do it in 6-8 weeks? Or you're not even sure if you're going to do it?
@1999 Also, multiple users can work on posts much easier. And you just clone & send a PR.

Did someone here have a keyboard script for review? I was about to write one, and I realized it sounded familiar...

oh, just close

The code is terrible and it's outdated and it only works for the Close Votes queue and I don't use it anymore... but, I mean, I guess

12:11 AM
WELL YOU ARE NO HELP

How could you ever open doors without me?

it works enough of the time
MORE OF THE TIME THAN YOUR SCRIPT DOES

This just in, @Shog9 abuses doors. Would you want a door-abuser as your CM? :P

...I'm thinking the right way to go here is to intercept the loading of @balpha's keyboard shortcuts and load it manually, patching in updated shortcuts before execution.

YAY, NOW STOP RANTING ABOUT DOORKNOB'S SCRIPT AND START RANTING ABOUT THE BORKED BLOG.

12:14 AM

Don't carry them from one person to another.

Who wants to touch somebody's doorknob, anyway?

user259867
How many of the current SE employees were moderators at some point?

user259867
I can remember 6.

12:18 AM
@Shog9 should do a Man VS Food type of thing on SO. He should try to clear the close queue pretty much by himself, could even broadcast it on yt. And we could cheer him on!

user259867
Tim Post, Anna Lear, animuson, JNat, cky, bluefeet

@Dronehinge Not actually possible
Not for any significant length of time

I mean, I could turn it off, but... That's cheating.
@1999 you missed Grace Note

Technically Nicolas Chabanovsky would count too

Not really, he wasn't a moderator of an SE site.

user259867
The role was admin at hashcode, and CM here.

user259867
As far as I know.

@1999 mmm... I could look this up, but it'd be a pain. Essentially, would look for employee status changes where an associated user were mods at the time of the status change. @jmac was looking for something like this the other day too.

user259867
12:30 AM
Oh, jmac was a mod on Workplace.

@1999 and me. You shouldn't forget me.

@KasraRahjerdi the photo is misaligned.

@Shog9 i'm currently taking a break from drilling my tower to install a fatty new GPU in

every tavern member starts twitching at the mis-aligned photo

@KasraRahjerdi drilling?

12:51 AM
@Shog9 yeah... my new card is too long to fit in my case but JUST barely, it's hitting the expansion slots (the case is ~8" thick, it has a wall set up 5.25" deep for the screws of the HDs, if I remove that the card will fit)
had to get new drill bits delivered though (thank god for Amazon Now) since I want to drill just the rivet out, not my entire life

ah!
Dremmel + grinding bit should work too

yep, that's my next step if the drill I have is too big to fit in the small space I have
or you know, just spend $100 on a new case
but this way is more fun!

@Undo So here's an idea: why don't we make an API request to get the last <x> SO questions recently modified every time we make a request for SO instead of just getting the ones identified by ids x, y, z, a, & b?

However, the .pem file I have from Amazon is just the private key. Not much to split there.

user259867
Maybe I should copy-paste the .pem file here, since we don't keep secrets nowadays...

they seems to assume that you have the public and private keys in a single pem file
you only need the private one

If processing time is a concern, consider getting just <x> most recently active posts instead of <x> questions with all of their answers. Old answers on a question with recent activity rarely yield anything worth flagging.

@1999 Well, I'm not sure how slow/fast Smokey is at processing a post. It might be fast, it might not.

@hichris123 Processing time on JSON, then running regexes should be fairly low
