@PeterJ I realised that, while I am probably correct, some people might violently disagree.

What's the worst that could happen?

Clever serial downvoting.

Still. If it's an OR-search it should return WAY more results.

Q: Questions seeking to ask help

Computer oneMy Question Are questions of the below type on topic on SO ? EDIT HERE How can we build graphs in Android ? This developer resource has less information. Example question: Create graphs and charts in Android

Anybody there ?

@Computerone, I don't have VTC on SO anyway but what would you suggest it's closed for? The Meta.SO question seems on-topic although not received well.

@Computerone the MSO post or that SO one? because that one is already closed

the MSO post

[ SmokeDetector ] Bad keyword in title: muscle building by zooboia kholia on meta.stackexchange.com

I don't think the MSO post need to be closed since it's on-topic. don't take the vote too personal, it's just to show that "I don't agree that SO question is on-topic"

1:21 PM
@Computerone why? and against what reason? too broad? unclear?

Well I don't think the community understood the question which means that I have not framed it clearly

@SmokeDetector gone

We understand. That's why the SO question is already closed.

let me find a dupe

Well receiving downvotes is not I am concerned for but I might be banned from the community

Meta is more lenient with vote.

And what is this I don't even: stackoverflow.com/questions/28987813/…

@Computerone, Meta.SO downvotes don't lead to a ban, unless they are so offensive etc you get manually banned by a moderator.

Where does one even begin to explain the multiple WTFs?

@rene That is certainly a possible duplicate.

I'm trying to find something on the internet that I read before. It's an article or a blog post or something about StackExchange. Well, it might be old enough that it's about StackOverflow--I'm not sure. The article says something like "at some point we had an epiphany: if we let the users run the site(s), they'll do a better job that we would". I think it might be an article about the history of SE. Does anybody know what I'm talking about?
Note: my quote isn't a quote at all. It's a rough memory of some idea that was surely expressed with very different words. The main point of the article was about self-governance.

Possible duplicate of [question] ?
It did happen over here
http://meta.stackexchange.com/questions/251079/association-reputation-bonus-on-preexisting-sites

@Computerone yes. but the comment is deleted if the question is closed as dupe. Not sure if it's different since you flagged to close as opposed to vote to close.

6:09 PM
Oh thank god.. I was wondering what was wrong with me
Is it a new feature ?

@Computerone It does, but only if you're the first to flag as a duplicate.

GONealeI don't know your exact need for this, but if you are also using .NET, couldn't you use Html Agility Pack? Excerpt: It is a .NET code library that allows you to parse "out of the web" HTML files. The parser is very tolerant with "real world" malformed HTML.

Is that NAA though?

^^^^

but it's a library

6:35 PM
Better than most LOAs and given the votes it seems rather useful

@Mooseman it says Agility pack
Without the link that is useful
Low quality, yes, downvote, yes, flag as naa: NO

It might be LQ because it doesn't explain how to use the library, but it's not just a link

It's an answer, maybe a low quality one (needs an edit, perhaps)

an edit explaining how to use the library would be too radical

6:38 PM
Is this an answer?
Got it in my review queue.

Since the (famous) regex xhtml "parsing" thread doesn't contain a valid answer that is a regex (afaik), then that answer shouldn't be penalized for not being a regex. Of course, it could be penalized for other things, like LQ, as others have said.
