@UnitedStatesOfAmerica Don't take me wrong, but... Nope. That works only as a joke. The den has its social contract, one that allows people here to avoid some of the rules (like the Be Nice, No Bad Words and so on) but only because the social contract between you folks allows so. You are fine in getting pinged, and you don't mind bad words. But you still are on SE.
Anytime, any day, one could enter the den and flag most of the "uncouth" words there... and it would be totally entitled to do so, because you are on a site that allows that. The fact that you tolerate that is sadly just that - you tolerate that, others may not. And they can walk wherever they want. And may come and ask you to follow the rules whenever they want.
Again, take this only as a suggestion. Play only with people that you know want to play.
And know that even then, you are walking a dangerous road.
(obviously no threat intended, but do know that if anyone get mad or bored he may come take revenge - and you don't have many defense against that)

So, reviewing edits which change indentation in code - if the end result actually is more readable (and frequently it is) I usually approve. But I just ran across a Python question "improving indentation" and all sorts of alarm bells started going off. I skipped the review but the future I'd be inclined to reject the edit
Since that's actually changing the code when it comes to python

I would indeed do the same

Q: Should I stop pirating TV in order to better role model for my toddler?

kimmyI regularly pirate TV shows and occasionally music or movies. Other than that, I lead a crime-free life. Like many people who pirate things, I'd never go into a store and steal a cd or dvd, which is ironic and not logical. I know it's wrong, but honestly, if it were just me I would continue to ...

@Fabby I'm a mod, but do you want a mod or a CM?

10:05 PM
@hichris123 What's a CM?
I have the following issue:
My take is that I want to have a code-formatted section in one of my answers, but a high-ranking user edited it, I rolled back apologizing and he rolled back again.
I don't want to get into an edit war, raised a flag and dropped by the chat...

@Fabby CMs are community managers (basically overseers of all mods & sites). Meta Stack Exchange has no mods, so the CMs are the mods. But not sure you really need one here; your suggestion to chat about it makes sense.
And FYI: I agree with you here, it makes it much easier to copy & paste. Although maybe include the code-block version and the blockquote version (one to show the markdown, one to see how it actually renders)?
@ShadowWizard ^

@hichris123 Why didn't I think of that?
I can add a "herez the codez section!"
I'll get back to editing and refer to the permalink of this chat!
@hichris123 And thanks for being around on a Friday-evening! (night for me)

A: In Prime95, why do small FFTs generate the most heat, despite CPU at 100% for all options?

DragonLordVectorized code, especially AVX, naturally increases CPU heat output because more of the processor must be used at a time to quickly produce a result. Small FFTs demand less memory than the blend mode, so the processor spends more time processing data and less time waiting for data. The x86-64 ...
