The 2:10 flight still claims to be on time

.... I need help. I actually started answering questions on SO today ... that can't be good.

I'll downvote so you get banned

It's 2:11 and the 2:10 flight is supposedly "On Time"

@Doorknob there is no date with that time?

Lol

8:12 PM
Please do @rene. I'm even answering in C# so I most likely deserve it.

checking...
I might have started an edit-war stackoverflow.com/questions/8583720/…

I Swyped my keyboard randomly and got "guesswork." I Swyped that and a suggestion was "firestorm." I Swyped that and a suggestion was "Gordon." Gordon uses PHP, therefore coding in PHP is guesswork.
...I'm really bored

@rene Why that edit though?
Ah, 1 question with that tag I see

The retag was requested on meta and seemed OK...

Hmm...

8:16 PM
So I retagged all questions to have the tag vanish at 03:00 UTC

You have a link to that request?

Do you guys think that should be burniated?

Okay, reversing the edit and I'll leave the link for the other editor

OK, tnx

8:18 PM
Wait, ... they got synonymized?

no

Yep

@Bart Ya.

Way to do all the work requested without having any sort of debate about it. Good to know that "community" has a distinct meaning to you (that appears disparate from what it really means). — Kyle Kanos 1 min ago
O..kay...

8:21 PM
cya

bye @TGMCians

cya @TGMCians

@hichris123 let it go...

You mean that? :D

Yes

8:23 PM
151m views?

rofl I got an ad on YouTube (a Google ad) about advertising with Google.

@rene Just inform him to retag the questions mpich2 if he so desires. :p

stackoverflow.com/posts/22583090/revisions This minor edit from that 144k :(

my niece (4) took my nephew's blanket away, and her mother told her to give it back, and she broke out with "I not LET IT GO, I not LET IT GO..."

@hichris123 Great, you have overwritten my edit and reintroduced the password :(

8:27 PM
^ The answers considered spam?
@TimWolla No, I just put mypassword.

Nope @hichris123, not really

@hichris123 Oh, nvm. Carry on.

@hichris The questions should just be closed and perhaps deleted.

^ that

@Doorknob That too. :P
YOU'RE MAKING ME USE MY LAST CLOSE VOTE!!! :(

8:29 PM
Yup, 2:10 just got cancelled

@TimWolla Yeah, just didn't want people to say Oh, you forgot your password!.

Looks like I'll have to stay in a hotel for another day
Brb lots of stuff is happening

:D
@rene You should know better than to answer a question like that! :P

I need the rep, need rep...

8:32 PM
:D

@hichris123: I'd agree if, for instance, you had 15 up-votes. 6 votes to me says that no one really cared to even read the post (given the popularity of MSO as compared to individual sites' metas). You also implicitly assume that everyone who has an opinion actually checks MSO, a patently false position. — Kyle Kanos 29 secs ago

@rene you don't have to draw on glasses, you can borrow mine

@rene ^^ lets it go :P

Enough with the fun about my sock-puppet

@TimWolla: he specifically asked for just using it, he didnt asked it to be string. — noobie-php 1 min ago
args :(

8:35 PM
:D

Ooh... you admitted @rene it's your sock! :D

I would have never guessed.

@hichris I have a sock too! :-P
(The chatbot)

Blah, booking hotel room now
The advantage of this is that I can close questions more efficiently, right @hichris? ;-)

8:40 PM
@Doorknob Yeah. :D
@Doorknob Wait, why were you even in Colorado in the first place?
4

@hichris Umm... furtive glance
It's spring break for me :-P

@Doorknob Wat? Mine's not till... 2, 3 weeks?

@hichris Some schools in my district even had theirs a week earlier

As soon as it's spring break for me, I'm going to try and hit 30k..

Brb again more stuff is being happening occurrence

8:46 PM
What does everyone think about this question? I just ran across it searching for something via Google and went "wtf o.o"
The question provides no real information and all the answers are basically just guesses about what the problem might be.

@animuson Most of the answers start with "I had the same problem.."

@animuson Meh, not a good question, not a horrible question.

Reminds me of the 500 Internal Server Error.
I mean, that's basically what this question is asking, no? "Why am I getting a 500 Internal Server Error?"

27 answers are a pretty good indication that the question is not all that great.
Especially if they are all of the "let's throw it at the wall and see if it sticks" type.

Too broad most likely.

8:49 PM
Not enough info to diagnose

Okay, why do we use for bootstrap? No one uses for non-Twitter Bootstrap stuff as far as I can tell...

What if I need help with the straps on my boots?

@hichris Bootstrapping is also a commonly used term outside of web development stuff

@hichris123 there is a meta post on that

Multiple meta posts

8:52 PM
@rene Linky?
@Doorknob I know, but recently... not so much. (at least on SO)

the first Microsoft Basic Bootstrap was written in a plane

Q: Bootstrap tags revisited

ChrisThere's a world of ambiguity and mis-tagging between bootstrap bootstrapping and twitter-bootstrap twitter-bootstrap-2 twitter-bootstrap-3. Can we sort it? The Issues bootstrap and bootstrapping are stated as for talking about bootstrapping in terms of computer start-up, however the vast major...

Oh @Undo someone flagged an old question from 2008 for migration to SR earlier.

@animuson Gah!

Q: Least intrusive antivirus software for development PC?

PoppaVeinWhat is the least intrusive and most effective antivirus software for a Windows PC that is used for software development (lots of small files and lots of disk I/O)? The software should support running from the command line so that virus scan be included into the build process. Edit: I understand ...

Not sure what to think about unsung being first gold. Time for strategy change :/

@Undo "People aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling."

Anyone that can clear revision histories here?
stackoverflow.com/q/22583422/782822 This one seems to have contained an actual problem with a password (not a localhost one)

@TimWolla Any CM can (I think). Also, you can just email team@.

Unsung was my second gold (after Fanatic). I received it the day the badge was created.

8:55 PM
@hichris123 I already flagged it, but I considered it to be important enough, because the host is not a simple localhost.

@TimWolla now that the OP has that comment in his inbox you better remove it.

@animuson Give me their name that I may haunt them for the rest of their lives.

@rene Doesn't it vanish then? I removed it just now anyway.

Until your flag is handled (which might take 7 hours) not. Comments are not part of the revisions

@rene I mean: Doesn't the notification vanish when my comment is deleted?

8:58 PM
Oh
uuhh

yes
IIRC
wait, maybe not

No, it doesn't.

Nope

There is some condition..If the user is currently logged on it is removed?

If it has existed long enough to cause the notification (read: existed at all), people will be notified of it, even if it gets deleted.

9:00 PM
that ^^^^

Once a notification has been generated, it is forever. Like a fat chick you didn't mean to hook up with at that convention, but you were just so drunk.

Okay, thanks then.

@animuson but non-mod comments on deleted posts get their notifications baleeted.

I'm now in a bus going to a hotel.
This is meh

Wouldn't it be more believable if Aaron Pittman was a former Microsoft IE developer then Google executive considering the bug in the nanite software?

ThrowBytesOverflow sounds like a competitor web site for StackOverflow. It is not a .NET exception. — Hans Passant Jan 13 '13 at 17:27

@animuson Could you check my latest flag out?

stackoverflow.com/questions/22583365/… Anyone want to clear those list of obsolete comments?

9:27 PM
At the hotel

Ewwww hotels

@animuson Want to clear the comments on the linked question, or should I flag them? :)

On the question? You linked to your answer...

Did I? Whoops.
My bad.
Thanks.

10:25 PM
NOT surely has two inputs. The editor almost got me.
It would make a great audit.
