shrugs That's exactly why we don't allow those types of questions. It's hard to say "this is spam" when the question basically asks for spam.

and, if the actual link target was sellng Gucci bags rather than Ruby tutorials, do I get away with a "spam" flag, or I should flag as "other / advertises something else than it pretends to"?

I recently noticed some ugly aliasing in the sidebar site list: I actually solved this problem before in my SE app (no linky here, that would be bad. It's in my profile). You can't just put a big UIImage into a small UIImageView. You have to resize the image itself. What I did was use UIImag...

Don't know about specifics and I can't be certain, but I believe this all started with a user named Stackoverloop who was Dutch, then Italian, then Turkish, then Jack Atwood and now plenty of clones. I'm sure I've missed some others. Someone with too much time on their hands @psubsee2003

A quick question: if I wanted to remain anonymous on certain SE sites, what would be the best solution? Should I delete my account on that site and create a completely new one based on a different email address? Or is there a way to unlink one site form the others (i.e. remove the links to other sites from my profile on that one site) while still using the same login? I'd rather keep using the same login if possible.

(yes, there are legitimate reasons to try to remain anonymous on certain SE sites, but I don't want to do this on most)
