cheers

@TimStone why, what's wrong?

The latest Chrome dev update has introduced some insane behaviour wherein the navigation buttons are inexplicably causing the sidebar to be pushed below the mainbar.

@TimStone The browser navigation buttons?

No, the site's navigation buttons.
#hmenus is too tall on M/SO
So something about the padding causing the elements to overlap by a few pixels makes Chrome do...whatever that is.
userstyles it away

@TimStone Seems OK for me (Chrome 29.0.1547.76 m, Win7)

Hi
If a user has posted two answers (very late) for a question, should it be flagged for removal? Question Link. Answers by user id - edukondalu chinta

What is wrong with the answers @Harry?
Them being late is no real reason for deletion.

Mat
The second one seems to be a "refinement" of the first on, should have been an edit.

nothing wrong @Bart. Two answers by same person, is that allowed?
@Mat exactly

Mat
Yes, that's allowed in general, but posting the same thing twice is pointless.

Sure, multiple answers are just fine. If the refinement is indeed the case, you can perhaps leave a comment for the author.

10:29 AM
Ok, fine. It just came up in the review list so I was wondering. Thanks :)
@Bart: I did, I added a comment on one of them :)

Just a note: should you ever flag such a situation, use the "other" option and clearly explain what it is you're seeing.

Noted. Thanks a lot to both of you :)

hey guys, is any moderator around now?
oh well. I'll just leave that here, hopefully the guy gets stopped before he really goes apeshit on the site.

Referring to the comments I assume @BartekBanachewicz?

@Bart obviously.

Yeah, the previous link did not lead to one any more. So I was wondering. But I just caught and flagged one at the bottom.

and my prediction wasn't far from reality; he actually left another offensive comment just a while ago on another Q

If it's still around, let me know and I'll flag it as well

nah, deleted already. Not sure if by the offender himself or by some authority.

@Oded Well, yeah, it's clearly a bug in dev channel, I don't think something so silly would make it to stable. :P

On no, I see I had my eloquent-explanation-filter turned off when writing that. Usually when typing such short phrases, they do automatically get turned into somewhat more of an explanation, making me sound far more intelligent than I actually am. Putting that comment into my filter now the following is returned: "There is no real telling why users vote the way they vote, especially when regarding the age differences of the linked posts. Posts might meet different audiences, or the idea of what is a good post has changed over time, making similar posts receive different evaluations". — Bart 3 mins ago
Let's see how long that one lasts. I apologize in advance. I couldn't resists. I'll keep my comments 100% on-topic, constructive and not funny from now on. Promise.... what crossed fingers?

meta.stackoverflow.com/a/197804/179635 the perfect way to prevent someone flagging you is to make the links unclickeable ;)
wonder what will happen if I make the sup higher and the sub lower... the whole page might get unclickeable, and if I add links....... brb

"And it was only a few days later when @ajax333221 was suspended after putting the tricks he learned into practice" ... :)

i thought that "what happen in sandbox, stayed in sandbox" :(

@ajax Doesn't work for me, and will probably have sporadically different results across browsers. A block-level element inside an inline element isn't proper.
