Q: Get number before the percent sign

KoffeehausI have a string like that: $string = "Save 20% on iPhone chargers..."; How can I pregmatch the number before the '%' sign? In this case - '20'. The percentage can be anywhere in the string.

I had to rewrite this really long and horrible VB Script function that was embedded in an ASP file yesterday.

Not that it was broken. It just hurt my eyes, and it took me too long to figure out what it was doing.
It also took me too long to remember that character indexes in strings start at 1 instead of 0.

I can't think of any examples that I know of off the top of my head, just curious.
