I want to create a regex in one line to:
remove bbcode
set maximum amount of characters
ex.
this is some [b]bold text[/b]. (29 characters)
To check the maximum number of characters should be 22 characters.
I have successfully created the regex in 2 lines but I need to make it one line.

I want to close it as "off-topic: impossible" But it seems to me that it may not be the right closing reason. Take a look at the last two comments I've put. My second choice would be "unclear what you're asking"
@HamZa If you are having that much trouble deciding on a close reason, you may want to consider the possibility that the question doesn't really warrant closure.
If it's actually unclear (as you mentioned in your second to last comment), then close it as such. But if you are just nitpicking it because you don't think it's a valid question, then don't vote to close =)
No, I wouldn't say" impossible" is a valid close reason. I think it's okay to post an answer to the tune of the last comment - explain why it's impossible, and offer an alternative.
Let's say I asked "How do I do X". Then I found it's impossible. I thought such questions should be closed but there's not "impossible" option on list.
Should I answer myself "X is impossible" and accept own answer or what?
Hey, would SO be the appropriate place to post a question about best practice/best way of achieving something in CakePHP? SO rules state that questions should have a definitive answer and not open discussions, yet CodeReview seems arguably less suitable
@animuson Lucky. No volunteer work necessary, then.
Wow... I'm a chat mod on SE, and am wholly unused to the regular user experience (not a mod here, as you see). No editing your own posts after some time? Sheesh, how do nonmods survive? :-P
Please rename mvcscaffolding that breaks tag naming rules and conventions to asp.net-mvc-scaffolding. Its name is short enough to fit into max 25 symbols.
Similarly named tags (just a portion of):
asp.net-mvc-routing
asp.net-mvc-areas
asp.net-mvc-3-areas
asp.net-mvc-partialview
asp.net-mvc-val...
I had a quick question I was hoping a moderator could answer
I flagged a comment as not constructive, the flag was declined, but the comment was removed. Could the fact that the flag was declined perhaps be a mistake?
Or is there some deeper machinery at work here too intricate for me to comprehend?
