@awoodland I think there's a global inbox notification at three days and one day remaining, but I don't think there's one for the beginning of the grace period.
I showed my wife (who's a historian) the uncyclopedia article on trogdor, which she loved but wanted to correct - apparently old english is inaccurate for that time period, it would have been anglo-saxon and the dates are wrong!
I always wondered what the point of having a dugout in that particular location was. I assumed it was a failed attempt at putting a man-made lake in the campground.

The StackExchange account passwords requirements are quite onerous, arbitrary, and undocumented, particularly the requirement of requiring 8 unique characters, a requirement I have never seen at even any banking site. Because of this (and other) arbitrary requirements, "Password1" is valid, but ...
Maybe I'm just too laid back, but I don't really care what the password requirements are. Anywhere.
This just feels a lot like if I went to my bank and said, "I don't really like 10 digit account numbers; can you make mine 13 digits instead? That's what I'm used to. Thanks!"

I honestly don't understand this behavior myself. However, I can offer you a few workarounds.
Create a Stack Exchange filter with the tags you need....

I'd like to get a list of all questions that have "z3" (or any other word) in the title or are tagged with it, e.g. something like
title:z3 OR [z3]
This doesn't work, however, as the system searches for "z3 or" in the title. Without "OR" the default behaviour seems to be to search for question...
I've just been awarded the Vox Populi badge on Meta Stack Overflow, Stack Overflow, Gaming & WordPress. I don't think I've voted once today, let alone 40 times on each site.
Starting with the next build, votes on deleted posts will be included in the profile counts. This will also apply to the various voting badges to match: Civic Duty, Electorate, Suffrage, Vox Populi. Also, the badge progress on review should remain accurate.

@MichaelMrozek In that particular case, it had been there for over half an hour, and was a bug several days old. Generally in cases like the one we just had, I give people the benefit of the doubt for a few minutes...though after that, eh.
@TimStone finally, I have a trophy of all the terrible, terrible questions that I helped put out of their misery. I like to think of them as 4,149 tiny, tiny antlers on my living room wall. (Evil cackle)

@TimStone yeah, maybe! It's definitely a strong possibility. I just can't think how this could have happened... the Ajax sending the comment would have to carry client-side time information for this, which wouldn't make sense. I'm really interested to learn what caused this one.
