Surgery went very well, there was a bone spur that he filed down, some disc fragments in the nerve cavity (the thing was degenerating there in the first place) and he cleaned all that up as well as what he went in for, and the only thing that worried him was that the nerve was exceptionally red (well, moreso than he was prepared to see). Pain was gone that afternoon, and right now my back is a little sore but that's it.

Anyone here?
I'm trying to understand how authentication is "remembered" between HTTP requests.

What do you mean?

Does a browser/app keep some sort of token around and send it with each request?
I'm trying to figure out how I'd implement user logins to a website in an app.
For example:
If I have a website where visitors can order products.
And I want to make an app for said website.

HTTP is stateless, so for every request you have to have a way to verify yourself, yes.

The app would be native, not a browser, so it would need to store something to verify the user.
So how does that generally work?
App --- (Uer and Pass) ---> Server
If Valid:
Server ---(token) --> App
App stores token
and sends it on subsequent requests?
App ---- (Purchase info & token) ---> Server
If token is invalid:
Server --- (Error Mssg) ---> App
Else Server Processes order
Server Processes order

Hi
Server ---- (Success mssg) ----> App
@TimStone - Do I understand this correctly?
What's up @OctavianDamiean?

@balpha That is the most amazing license plate ever!
