Just debugged a program by printing two large portions (an array and an enum) and comparing them manually to see if/where there was a mismatch. It was surprisingly effective.
Well, I love how iterating on my app breaks things more drastically each time I make a change, until I tie all the changes together.
Iterative development is like going on a roller coaster; you think that you're about to fly off the track, until you end with the most spectacular drop, then you're back where you started - comfy and working correctly.
Some time ago I flagged a question that was an exact duplicate of another asked by the same user. My flag was marked as helpful, but was never acted on.
Is there any intent to view files such as word document(.doc), excel sheet, powerpoint(.ppt), pdf, etc. in android.
If any, then please help me out of this.
Thanks.
I usually don't flag for duplicates, but I make exceptions for duplicates by the same user. Is it not customary to flag these questions? Should I flag it again?
I had cleaned up the second one quite a bit in eager anticipation of the other being marked a duplicate. :)
Here was my "Other" message in my original flag:
Exact duplicate of stackoverflow.com/questions/4016100/intent-for-viewing-files (asked by same user). I had edited this one, then saw that one. Since it has the accepted answer, it should probably be the canonical. Recommending a merge of the answer on this question to that one, too. – Nov 10 at 21:49 helpful
OP asked another very similar question that did get closed.
@amanaPlanaCAnalPAnaMA Agreed. I'm sure the rationale of the mod that did it was that the comments were just "noise" and didn't add to the question (although this logic is very selectively / inconsistently applied).

@PopularDemand alot of those meme's are user specific. and the one I was showing was used by many other users aside from me whereas others are very very user specific
Another gem from /review. This looks like it was intended to be spam, but the spammer, um, forgot to include the link? I just... don't even know anymore.
Assuming I am an avid gamer, desiring to collect all the hats, treating the hat dash like a game.
Is there any reason I couldn't discuss strategies for this game on gaming itself, or does the fact that it's being run on gaming make it "meta" even though it is a game, and different strategies mig...
Ladies, Gentlemen, after much discussion and the insightful comment from Adam, we're about to close Meta Stack Overflow as an exact duplicate of the newborn stackexchange tag on Gaming. Please welcome your mothership overlords
@TimStone The last feature we needed for the migration was obviously hats. Honestly we couldn't let dragons overrule unicorns as the most asked about creatures on the site
With 30k questions about unicorns we calculate Skyrim will no longer be our top tag for the next 6 to 8 weeks
