@Spevacus maybe but the company's still not at a state where I feel like I'm not going to wake up one day and the company has done something royally stupid, and left it for us to clear up
I 'love' the day to day work of running a community. I don't love how the company has chosen to allocate resources, and they need to do a lot better or worse for me to feel I want the diamond back ._.

If I were to get one, the charging cable would have to go over public road and that's not allowed
So unless they start making EVs with removable battery pack that I can put in the backyard for charging or something, not an option

Oh, yeah, that makes sense.
I saw a blog entry of an apartment dweller whose building had a built-in parking garage. They convinced the resident whose space was right next to the electrical room to switch spaces (a win-win since they drove a big SUV and so the resident's former space was way more convenient), paid for the installation of the EV charger next to it, and agreed to reimburse the building owner for the electricity used.
Speaking of my prior quest for a heat pump water heater, there's still a $900 California rebate, but that's only if you buy one with a backup heating element, which is unnecessary in most populated parts of the state. Why they did it that way, I have no idea. I did a rough calculation and it would be more costly since we'd have to wire a large amount of electricity across the house (cost of wiring is superlinearly proportional to length).
We paid very little (comparatively) for our EV wiring, as it's right next to our electrical panel.

@Marco you mean the current war in Gaza? I'd say around 50% of those who are "eligible" i.e. in the proper age and served in the army. Only reason I didn't take part is the age, if I was e.g. 10 years younger I'd be taking part in the north position. And the other 50% also do their part in army, even if not active part in Gaza or the north border.
@Marco I did take part in big military operation in the past, though not full scale war. I always forget which operation exactly as we had many, let me try and see...
